Really liked this app, and if you don't mind ads switching every few seconds, you might too.
But, if this developer wanted an app that required paying to get rid of ads? ...why not create one with that purpose? And leave the paid version alone?
Okay, we've paid for an app. And now we have to pay again to get rid of ads? Kind of feels like we're getting screwed here. ...not very Christian-like. Isn't there a theme somewhere in scripture about honoring your commitments? Or maybe he's focused on the love of money?!?Show lessiRobert2
Great App
This app is excellent, the variation of subjects makes it a great tool. The Lord has used this to talk directly into a situation I found myself in where I needed direction. I know some people may think there are some negative scriptures, especially from the Old Testament, but sometimes God has to discipline us and may use such scriptures. Remember ' All scripture is God breathed and useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.' Advertising?
Really don't like the advert banner at the bottom of the screen. Me and The Lord time should be just that, the two of us alone. I don't like to share that time with anyone else, least of all an advert company pumping out stuff I have no interest in?Happy to pay for an advert opt-out version. Fantastic - a real blessing :)
Highly recommend - the quality and content is really good. You can read by topic and the verses are over really nice pictures. You can swipe through the verses and it is very inspiring and encouraging to use in your quiet time or when needing a spiritual lift to fill your mind and heart with God's word. I find listening to a fav Christian song while using this app a great blessing and way to draw closer to God.Show lessAmeels

Love this app! Each morning, it is my go-to for a daily Bible verse. It is well-laid out, and I love the verses in the categories. The only thing I wish could be changed is the background photos. I want to be able to choose my own photos, either from the photos within the app or from my own photos in my ipad. God's Word is timeless. I view the Daily verse every day and it is a true source of encouragement. I have viewed the other topics many, many times and have a lot of favorites. This is such a wonderful app. No matter what you're going through, you will find this app inspirational. Kudos for a job well done. I highly recommend it! (The background is beautiful.). For me, each day I look at the daily verse, I am getting a personal message from God. He knows what we need before we ask him. God comforts and encourages us with His Word. Please allow the editing of bookmarks. It would be great to be able to move the bookmarks up and down to categorize for studying. For example, if I have a group of bookmarks and they're on faith, the next might be on wisdom, I'd like to be able to keep them together. Also, if I've saved a bookmark in NLT and want to redo it and save it in NKJV, I can't. I have to painstakingly delete them all and redo each one of them. Overall, it's a good resource and study aid.
