Need to fix the notification sounds with in the app send and recibe they don’t work please
Please bring back the send and receive sounds within the app I do not mean the notifications you can configure. I mean that ones we have always had when you are sending messages back-and-forth with the person. They’re used to be a sound for when they sent you a message, and you had the app open. This has been removed in one of the many updates. This app has gotten in the past few months. This is extremely annoying for visually impaired people like me. If some people. Don’t like this You should just give them the option to turn it off, or keep it on, if they like. Please bring this option back. I know they’re other alternatives to WhatsApp like telegram, but I don’t really want to do that. I am not asking for much. Just give us the options. We had sense. Forever. I’ve been using this app for over six years and never once had a problem like this. This app is all about communication, and I cannot communicate properly because by the time I am done. This update is annoying fix it please
What's app is amazing but the new update is messing everything up now I'm having issues what's app Is saying connecting and my messages are not being read properly I can see and it's not an internet issue it's an app Isai and what's app has a new update like daily please stop updating the version so often I'm goin to stick to telegram if it continues but over all it's working fine l liked it when you get a sound when you send a message and the other person was online I wish whats app brings that back but over all it's not a bad app l've been using it for a long time and these last few updates has me annoying now please fix these issues once and for all and l'm having a hard time reacting to messages too I have to leave the chat and then come back to react and or have to restart what's app and even my device it's annoying please fix these issues thanks

Blocked When I Needed It Most: WhatsApp’s Flawed Security System
I am incredibly upset with WhatsApp’s security system. I understand the need to prevent spammers, but the current approach is unacceptable and needs serious improvement. My account was blocked and placed under review for no apparent reason at the worst possible time—during an important trip for health reasons. I was in the middle of coordinating surgery in a country where all health practitioners rely on WhatsApp for communication.
The block happened a day before my surgery, leaving me completely unable to communicate with my doctors. To make matters worse, WhatsApp doesn’t allow access to chat history when an account is under review, so I couldn’t retrieve my doctors’ contact details, phone numbers, or the specifics of my appointments saved in my chats. This system is deeply flawed.
I’ve always loved WhatsApp and have had a great experience with it in the past, but this incident has made me start looking for alternatives. I can’t afford to be in a situation like this again, where I’m left stranded without access to critical information. WhatsApp needs to reevaluate its security policies and find a way to protect users without compromising their access during critical times.

Would love to love this app, but I’m so frustrated
I’ve used WhatsApp for years - I used to travel a lot and it was great for group texts to my family back home and maintaining contact with my international friends. Recently I’ve been trying to use it as a group messaging tool for volunteers at my job - and I have had to submit a review request THREE TIMES because I have been banned for adding my OWN contacts (both in my phone and they have WhatsApp) to a group message with less than 30 people in it. When my review has returned that I’m a real human being, I would be able to add one more contact to the group before being banned again. When I send an email to try and get help on this, I’m told that I just need to submit a request for review in the app… which obviously hasn’t solved the problem the last 3 times so I’m unsure why it’s the only solution. Currently about to look for alternatives, which is sad bc WhatsApp has always been tried and true. But when it’s frustrating and there’s no hope in solving the problem.. it is what it is. 👎🏻

Having trouble with my WhatsApp
The reason that I am giving up is Store is because I’ve been having a lot of issues with the app. The app Is not letting me receive message or send message or photos! Other things that it’s telling me is that I don’t have space to update the app, but I have 110 GB available on my phone and 1 terabyte available on my iCloud! So I figure that should be a plenty space to be able to update tha app! So I don’t understand why I’m having a hard trouble with my WhatsApp! I have had WhatsApp since 2010 and I never had had this issues that I’m having right now! For example, everything started that I didn’t had storage on my WhatsApp when I try to update it. The app got deleted from my phone when it was on progress on the update, I download it again. The WhatsApp I try to recover my chat history and then it didn’t let me. I contact technical support and my issue did not Solved! Also, when I contact technical support, I asked a question that it was why do I only have 8GB of storage on my WhatsApp when other people have 88GB and I never got an answer! One of the reasons that I don’t delete WhatsApp it’s because I need it for my job and I need to FaceTime my son that lives in another town! Those are the two reasons why I don’t delete WhatsApp because if it was for me, I already deleted WhatsApp with all this issues that I’m going through!

As a loyal user of WhatsApp, I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with the persistent lack of a key customization feature—chat themes—that has yet to be made universally available across all devices. It is utterly unacceptable that, despite using the iPhone 15 Pro Max, I am still forced to endure the hideous default chat color scheme, which I find aesthetically displeasing and distracting.

I demand to know why this feature has not been deployed universally. Great app plus great communication tool when overseas
Used WhatsApp for a while and it’s been great for family, team and group chats.
But it really came into its own recently on a trip to a non-English speaking country. Not only was it the best way to share photos/info with fellow travelers and new friends, but along with my translate app it made communicating with non English speaking accommodation, rentals, sights and tours much easier. Maybe it’s cos I haven’t travelled since Covid but I felt this tool made organizing and changing plans while on the road way easier than previously
