  • Best flash card app period

I love this app. It’s super flexible and allows me to create (literally) thousands of cards with multiple sides and qui myself on them on multiple devices. Only wish it were easier to transmit decks from one device to another (eg bluetooth and not wireless).
  • Love it!!!

Terrific study tool for memorizing just about anything!
  • Wonderful!

I've used a lot of flashcard/anki apps and tbh this is the only one I've ever liked. Thank you so much!
  • Text only

Unless you make all your cards with only text, this app is pretty useless. Unfortunately, I need pictures on mine so it's useless to me.
  • Thank you, David...

...for bringing this back! I hope it remains updated for many, many, years to come. Five stars because it “just works” flawlessly, and does what it is designed to do with ease and simplicity. I would like to see a way (an optional feature) to practice writing in an answer, and then check it with the already entered correct response (the program doesn’t necessarily have to be able to check for you). Also, you may want to put dates on your updates listed on your website, as well as update your copyright date to the current year. This would instill more confidence that the app is alive and well. Just some suggestions!
  • Good to see some love

iFlash has always led all flashcard apps with its simple but fully functional interface. The recent iPad support is good to have. It would be even better if it remembered your place when coming back after it gets booted out of memory. Also, it crashes when clicking on the "All" cards button. But at least this is easily avoided.
  • Didn’t Sync after upgrading to iOS 8.0

Version 1.2 didn’t want to sync with my iMac since iOS 8.0 update. However, after removing all of the card files from my iPhone and rebooting the iPhone, it did sync just fine. I love this app, but one really needs to be able to sync the images from the Mac to the iDevice as images make up 50% of my cards! I’ll upgrade my rating to 5 stars once I can sync images.
  • LOVE this program!

I got a Mac for nursing school in 2008 specifically so I could use iFlash (well I love Macs also) and it got me through school with thousands of cards!! I’m in school now to be a Nurse Practitioner and I just opened the program to use it again! I love that I can cut and paste pics from the class power points and I love that I can use it on the go on my phone! I wish I could do everything on the phone that I do on my computer but I love it either way!!!!
  • Great Product but "loss" a section

I have different categories using the flashcards. I really like them but when I drag an item to be attached and then when studying the cards the attachment is so small. No directions how to make it larger. Also, as I was putting in 50+ cards in a specific section all of a sudden that whole section was not there. Agh! I reverted but I still loss all my work during this evening studying. Very frustrating :( so many hours down the drain.
  • The Best of the Best

iFlash is a brilliant program - powerful, intuitive, robust, stable, elegant, and well-supported. I've been using it for years, perhaps even a decade, and it has never let me down. And I've put it through its paces: thousand of flash cards, each linked to large audio files. It has never crashed once.

Regrettably, I have been disappointed by the limitations of the supplemental iOS app. But I'm happy that it has been scaled for the iPad. I hope that someday the developer leverages his genius to make an iOS version as good as the desktop, and I hope that he makes a lot of money.
