Amazing Bible & Resource App
I was told about this app by a pastor friend who uses it.
The resources in this app have helped my study time exponentially! Being able to look up definitions of words in their original language, & under Holy Spirit’s direction has helped me grow in my faith. In the old days, I’ve had tons of books in front of me to accomplish the same thing but this app puts it all in one place. I can compare versions of the Bible & search for verses as well. I must confess that I don’t use all the features in this app, but the one feature I would like to see is an interlinear from the Textus Receptus. I use an online version of this, separately.
The ability to take notes is an awesome feature as well…and the best thing is that these resources are at my fingertips wherever I go. I appreciate all the hard work put into gathering the resource material & producing this app. I still have hard copies of the resource books but the app helps me to study God’s Word wherever I am. Thank you!

Five star app for Bible content
Firstly let me say that I actually do read my Bible and study it! I also strongly recommend that everyone does so – that is to say own and frequently/regularly use a paper-based Bible. This can never be replaced by reading in cyberspace and, indeed, when the electricity supply fails, when the Internet goes down or when you are in circumstances where it is impossible to read online, you will need your Bible. there may even be circumstances where you no longer have access to a physical Bible and there you will need to rely on your memory. having said all of that, I would say that this Bible app is wonderful, encouraging and a great resource. I strongly recommend it.

Truly Recommend for Preachers who travels on the Mission.
Amazing and exciting bible app
There are perhaps so many to choose from? Reasons to order one over another? It always comes to personal choice I know! However; I recommend this one! Why? It really concentrates on what a Christian wants in developing their walk with God. Bible versions for all levels; fantastic commentary’s; and then to really help great daily devotional plans to complement these. One fantastic bonus is their TouchPoints tool that gives a fantastic option to explore all those questions you may have about you’re daily walk with trials and much more! Is this not exciting? Works for me. Thanks to a great development team.

A much appreciated app
I installed the app 8 years ago for ease of transporting many bibles on a mobile and quickly being able to locate referenced Bible readings plus being able to jot down a note if required. I then discovered the audible tool and use this feature every day. I have recently added the app to a tablet specifically focused to art and the tecarta interface stands out beautifully on it. I’d also like to give a shout out to the staff in customer services for their consistent availability and ability to sort out my queries. This Bible app has certainly become an important aspect of my daily life.

Used it nearly daily for at least 11 years
Not my only Bible app, but this is still the one I use most consistently because God has demonstrated again and again (truly nearly daily) that He in his Sovereignty uses it to inform and guide me, especially for intercession. I can’t even begin to tell you how often he has provided the best possible verse or devotional for someone or something I am praying for. I love the format, the ease of access, the search features, the devotional options. I’m willing to pay for the Bible and devotionals that I want because I don’t believe that everything Christian should be free…don’t muzzle the ox…and I would look up the actual verse, but that’s not available while I’m reviewing it 😉😆
Like many, I was initially not thrilled with the update. Change is hard. But after using it for awhile I am really impressed with all the upgrades. So much so that we (my family) are now going to purchase the yearly subscription for the access to all the rich commentaries and study Bibles. I’m really excited to dig into the many different options for gaining greater context and understanding.

Brilliant
The Tecarta Bible App, now called ‘Life Bible’, is an absolutely brilliant tool for reading and studying the Bible. I’ve been using it for over 10 years and it just gets better. A large selection of Bible translations, Study Bibles, Bible reading plans, Commentaries and more is available to purchase at very reasonable cost. The subscription opens up an even larger selection. Add to that ‘Touchpoints’ where 400 ‘life topics’ and questions are explored. The App is easy to use and if any problems do arise, help is readily and speedily availed. A truly brilliant App.

Brilliant before the update
Updated: Whatever issues there were after the update are now resolved. I can work without a snail’s pace app bogging me down.
Would still like a “lite” version without any of the nonessential features, and personally, I liked the “Tecarta” name better than the bland “Life Bible” name.

My second day working with the updated Tecarta, and it’s unusable on my iPad. I had to install the ESV app just to get some work down today. Really sad, as this was one of my very few “essential” apps. After Bibleworks ceased to operate on 64-bit computers, I started using Tecarta for comparing translations and using cross-references etc. Worked outstandingly, and it’s the only app that I’ve ever bought in-app purchases with. Developers, PLEASE allow a roll back to the previous edition, or release a “lite” edition without the reading plans and homepage stuff that seems to be bottlenecking the performance on my iPad in split screen mode.

My favorite devotional tool!
I love this app!!! I have many of the extensions available and would highly recommend this app, it's an eternal investment not to be regretted. The home page is great and free I think...I like it just for that. But beyond that I have purchased many of the extensions available. I can open three to four different views on my Bible each with a built in commentary. They all sync to the same passage so it's easy to compare and get different perspectives. There are also many devotional plans which I love as well. I have three 365 day plans that I read every day. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone. I do wish I could have a way to select favorites in the devotionals and touchpoints so that I could come back to them later. In response to another reviewer I would say that yes, changes can be difficult to navigate but usually end up enhancing the experience and worth the effort to learn. A huge thanks to the developers of this Bible app! God bless you all!!

Please remove advertisements
I have been using this app for years and I love it. I use it daily. However, recently they have introduced advertisements that pop up every day when I open the Bible. advertisements are just so out of place in the holy scriptures. Please consider not having daily adverts each day that pop up when I open the Bible. The Bible is Holy, and should not include advertisements.
