Excellent app with a poor interface
As a network consultant I've bought all apps with similar functionality to this (I'm actually looking for nmap!). This has the best functionality of all of them but, and it's a big BUT, the interface is awful. It's almost brilliant.Youngerpants
Great App.
I use this app. both at home and work to check the host list as well as to make sure other network devices are up and visible on my networks. Also use other wifi tools on my iPod to check signals and open ports without having to turn on an expensive laptop and when I'm done I get to listen to my tunes or play a game. A very convenient way to scan my LAN. A very easy to use tool to find out who may be on your wifi! (like neighbors). I give it 5 star rating because of all of that plus being able to see the MAC addresses if one cannot figure out which IP address is really yours. There are certain MAC addresses that belong to certain devices. We have several computers, iPods, iPhones and gaming consoles in our household and it's nice to be able to distinguish the ones that belong to our household versus some random creep on my network. This is one of my most valuable iPhone apps. I use this app to detect possible security issues on my networks, and as a troubleshooting aid. I have also used it in demos to clients to demonstrate possible ways in which their network can be accessed in real life. Gathers good info. Only request is to rank scan results in numerical order of IP address instead of what appears to be random ordering.The net man
