Improvement Suggestion
This app would have been perfect for me. It really helped me stick to a budget. But the big caveat was that I couldn’t rearrange list items myself. The “categories” feature wasn’t helpful enough for me.
My iPhone 12 comes with a simple Notes app that lets me rearrange bullet list items; I can drag each bullet to any position in the list. This is incredibly useful because can I arrange grocery items in the order in which I’ll find them in a simple loop around the store.
When I used this app, it took me much longer to find all the items on my list. Because I had to keep re-reading the whole list at each section of the store, and I still missed some items and had to keep gong back to different parts of the store for them.Show lessBusy Mom #1000

My husband and I were using Grocery Pal and something happened to it where we weren’t able to connect our phones and share the lists; so we came to Listonic, but there are some features that I liked about the other one that this one doesn’t have. For instance, I like the idea of being able to add a note to the item to give a little bit more detail for my husband when he’s shopping, ie: “only that brand” or “quantity: 2” otherwise this is a good alternative..Show lessCuteHarleyChick
Almost Perfect!
All and all this is great for couples or roommates who share groceries. It’s a categorized list across devices. A few gripes keep it from 5 stars:
- Doesn’t remember category changes for items
- Delete purchased items should be the main delete button and delete list should be the one in the more options section

List Updates Not Real time
Frequently a family member checks something off a list on their phone but it doesn’t update real time for others that share the same list. this has resulted in the same item being action multiple times for us. for example, we keep our grocery list on Listonic and have purchased the same item at about the same time at separate stores.Show lessFuzzyHippo
Great app
Great app, but I do have one complaint. When swiping an item, if you’re not careful it’s way way way too easy to accidentally delete an item. I know, you get a second or two to undo it, but that’s far too little too late. When u swipe an item, u already see an option to delete with a trash can. The ability to delete with one quick swipe should be removed or at the very least u should be prompted with the question are u sure.Show less1971dahjr

This app is a great replacement to google lists which recently went completely off the rails. I found this app as a replacement and promptly bought the lifetime upgrade. I found the app crashes when you attempt to sort the list in a custom order. Moving items up or down the list will crash it. Other than that it’s fine.Show lessKilozapp26
Great app now that the beds are gone.
Great app to use for multiple user accessible shopping lists. For too long after an update a big was introduced that would freeze lists during use and that bug is GONE. This is a weekly use app for me that I can recommend again.asciblue
Very intuitive list app
I had a list app that I really liked but after upgrading my phone that app was not supported by the App Store anymore so I had to go out and find a new one. So after trying many I came across Listonic and it was by far the best of all the list apps. Doesn’t bombard you with extra features as it just does a great job of creating lists. Don’t miss out on trying this if you’re looking for a list app. You won’t be disappointed!Show lessQuadvark
Adds extra items?!?
I went to the store only to find the list I made had a bunch of weird items on it that I didn’t add! Made my shopping trip take so much longer because I was sorting through all this extra random stuff! Just now I added “shrimp pot stickers” to my Trader Joe’s list. When I go back to look at my list the app also added, “chair cushions!” This is supposed to make life easier and more organized, but definitely has missed that mark for me. Somewhat functional, but far from elegant
Just doesn’t work well with the way we shop. Also buggy. My husband accidentally brushed the “delete after purchasing” icon and all the recurring items disappeared and there was no way to recover them. Then it blocked my husband out of the account. When I tried to resend the lists to him it told me that he was the owner of the lists, (even though I was the one who set them up) and that only he could share lists with others or delete users.
