  • Beware of their return policy

    Buyers beware! I used Gilt for few years but the last purchase really left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure when they revised their return policy but it is hard to flow. First of all, items that were not final sale somehow don’t always show up as returnable, so you have to contact support. Second of all, the return window is only 21 days from the date the product “shipped”. In my case, the product took over a week to get to my door (shipping was so slow, and it was sitting on “preparing for shipment” for a fee days). Why is this time counted for the return window? I essentially then only have 10 days to process return. Customer service was unhelpful and keep stating the policy without accounting for the unfairness of those days lost while shipment was in transit for 10 days in my particular case.

    I do not Gilt recommend anymore.

  • Gilty Shopping

    I’m always surprised at the amount of incredible content that Gilt has to offer. The fact that you have so many choices to choose from makes it a great opportunity to have an opportunity for savings to grow your wardrobe and make your home look more appealing all in one place is an excellent opportunity to have a good reason why I love this site. Look for other content that appeals to you as well as the best content available to save money for even more purchases in another place in Gilt’s shops is the reason for shopping for your own items in a place where you can get more than you expect and you can leave with a smile.

  • Beware the app does not indicate final sales

    I have been shopping with Gilt for years, mostly with no issues. My last purchase was made through the app. On starting a return I discovered that half of the items on the order were not listed as returnable. I took screenshots of the order on the app to show customer service that nowhere does it say that those items are final sale. The first customer service agent offered me the option of returning them all (4 items) for store credit. I declined that and asked for a supervisor who can do something about the fact that the app does not list any of these items as final sale and refund my credit card. I was then contacted by three different “supervisors” via email instead of the promised call back over the weekend. The first offered the option of returning only two. The second wrote to say that they will not approve my return of any of the four items and the third offered to return only two!! Not a single one of them acknowledged my attached screenshots that prove that the app does NOT show any of those items as final sale. This is the third technical issue I have had with Gilt in a row. The customer service was condescending and dismissive. It felt like talking to robots. I will never shop with Gilt again.
