  • Amazing for blocking inappropriate content!!!

I love Covenant Eyes so much! My mom downloaded it for the whole family and is amazing for blocking inappropriate images, websites, and so on! I have had 1 problem though, it lags more than safari, but I still would recommend to friends because it is keeping our whole family safe. My parents get weekly reports of what we have been doing and even my mom and dad can see what each other are doing. I love how the VPN can track to make sure no one is doing any bad!!! Overall Though, I would definitely recommend to family and friends! 😁😁😁 Thanks for making apps like this to keep everyone safe!! God bless!! 😊😊

  • Terrible Canceling Procedures

So I want to preface this review by saying that this is a great concept and actually works pretty well! I don’t have any complaints with the functionality itself. My gripe with the company is that if you want to cancel, they have no ways to do this except over the phone. Almost all companies have modern way to just cancel on the website or send and email. With this, you had to call. What made this even more uncomfortable is that when I called, I spoke with a woman who was asking me if canceling would be a good idea and asking to think about if I needed the accountability. Thanks, but a random woman I’ve never met is the last person I would ever want to have a conversation with about this stuff… I understand they want to help and keep people in their program, but in my opinion it is extremely uncomfortable and super cringy the way it is set up. Please make this change! Someone should not feel uncomfortable or pressured to not cancel or change a subscription, that should be the accountability partners job, not the companies.

  • Absolute garbage!

For what I pay for a subscription and the claims that are made, this mobile browser is absolute garbage. I have to fight constant app crashes, slow searches, and after the last update it’s not even working after “minor bug fixes”. For a company that hopes to keep people accountable by using their products and services, said product and services drive me to use different browsers. This seems counterproductive? I’ve been frustrated with this for a while. I pay (out of my means mind you) for a service that is supposed to help me and it fails me continually. If this was a person that is supposed to hold someone accountable for what they look at and do, then they would be driving me to a strop club on the weekends. Hopefully this comparison is drastic enough to get my point across. Covenant Eyes, get your crap together and do your freaking job or drop the fee and make it a free service because this sure as heck isn’t worth the $100+ I pay for it.

  • 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

My heart is bursting in tears as l’m writing this‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭God bless covenant eyes❗️❗️❗️❗️ 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 it was an endless battle with the internet 😭😭😭😭 ma Jesus heard my prayers 😭😭😭 «“Woe to the world because of its stumbling blocks! For it is inevitable that stumbling blocks come; but woe to that man through whom the stumbling block comes! “If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it from you; it is better for you to enter life crippled or lame, than to have two hands or two feet and be cast into the eternal fire. If your eye causes you to stumble, pluck it out and throw it from you. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, than to have two eyes and be cast into the fiery hell.»

  • Better than ever

I’ve been looking for accountability software for years. It’s one of those things that’s hard to compromise with because it used to be that you had to give up using safari and apps because they couldn’t be monitored. Not anymore.

The web browser is decent, the monitoring of the apps through VPN is second to none, and the screen accountability is another layer of protection.

The bottom is this: Where there’s a will, there’s a way. This can go both ways. If you desire purity and if you want to mortify the deeds of the flesh, then this app will help you do that. But you have to got to want to do it. I’m 43 days free and I’m looking forward to it for the rest of my life.

  • Excellent

So far this company has been very supportive and has given me hope for our family. They have been patient, kind, understanding and it’s so comforting to know to that someone is watching my family and it gives me a peace of mind that my family is being protective. I highly recommend this company because porn is a very real thing and regardless it can truly damage the brain and it’s a very big tool that Satan is using to destroy our families. Something else this company has done is educate me through there resources with free ebooks which has been wonderful. I would personally like to Thank each employee that works everyday to protect every family member of the evil that is all over our internet.

    Thank you,

  • Good idea but....

Long story short, my mentor and I chose to buy covenant eyes for my computer and phone. Great reviews, people have loved it, etc. the issue I’ve found at least on the phone is this: 1. The app itself is a browser but I have no way of transferring all my saved websites and tabs over to use it instead. Also this doesn’t fully hinder me from just downloading another browser in the night- for those more stubborn- and using that instead, but maybe that’s why; nonetheless I don’t want to use the app browser as I have important websites saved that would take me hours to transfer. 2. In the moment I found a way to get past the VPN. Your VPN only hinders google I found. This meant that I was able to just use a different search engine to still see and get to the bad websites AND the program didn’t even register I went to them; this is a BIG problem for what y’all are advertising. Pleaseeee fix this.

  • Do not trust this site.

My son was in trouble for looking up two sites. While he was grounded he lost his phone privilege. He had told me twice he didn’t look up anything and I did not believe him. He didn’t have his phone for nearly two weeks. After about one week I received a notice to check his report. It showed he had looked up sites that were inappropriate, even though I had his phone and it had been turned off. I contacted Covenant Eyes because I wanted a refund. Did they care that this caused my son to be grounded or could have caused a huge fight with my husband? No. They said there was glitches and that they were working on them. Then they said they couldn’t reimburse me because it was past 7 days since the day I was billed. This is not a Christian application that will help. Their integrity is not shown in their customer service. I don’t know about you but I believe God will show me when there is anything going on in my household. I trusted this site and it could have cost me a divorce and also not trusting my son.

  • Best Accountability Software

Covenant Eyes is the best accountability software I’ve come across. I’ve been using it for over a year. The fact that it works on my iPhone and has device wide protection is great. It does have a few holes and the browser is not the best, but I’m willing to use the browser since it keeps me safe. I keep my phone locked down tight. Safari and all other browsers are not in my phone and I cannot download any apps. All social media is blocked completely, including on a web search through Covenant Eyes, which is the only browser I have. Also, kudos to the Love People Use Things podcast. The podcast is for everyone, not just those who struggle with porn

  • Great product but the new version has issues

(Downgrading my review because I’ve had more issues with this VPN. It makes Uber and lyft and Google maps all break and so I continually have to remove CovenantEyes from my phone making it useless – Covenant eyes people – please go back to a having a non-VPN option at least before I need to cancel my subscription)

This is a great concept but the new version has some issues. It uses a VPN connection to CovenantEyes servers. The result is that you are going to get certificate errors in some applications such as Google maps or Google email. I’ve had Google maps sometimes not work until I uninstalled CovenantEyes. I’ve also had continual certificate errors when using Google mail. I’ve also noticed some slow down and performance impacts when CovenantEyes was enabled they go away soon as I delete it. From time to time I find websites that don’t work in the CovenantEyes browser but they do work in Google Chrome. Overall this is a great product but they need to work on the new VPN Based version as it’s a bit clunky in its first release
