  • Amazing app, amazing value

Can't recommend this enough, best app ever for education for kids
  • awesome

i got this app for my then 3 year old son. he just turned 5 and math is now his favorite thing to do!
  • Really well done

The mix of numbers with letters helps keep interest and variety. It does seem to take a very long time to adjust to each kid's level
  • Best app for kids

My 5 year old was reading a book over the phone to his Grandma. She asked where he learnt to read so well. He instantly said the iPad. Great app to get kids learning.
  • Wow.... I was very impressed

Wow! I have to say that I was very impressed with the program. Not only does it really teach the bascis, the reward system is also great. "Dad, look at all my coins".... and "I have to get more coins to buy that...."

    Strongly recommend it
  • My Son Loves It!

Fantastic app, the rewards system is highly motivational for my son. I also have the Grade 1 version which is also fantastic. Just a pity the app doesn't have any higher grades for my older son.
  • One of the best I've found

This is one of the better apps of this type that I've found, and I have tried quite a few. It made me see how my 4 year old was processing (or, as it turned out, not processing) addition and subtraction concepts, and she is now understanding them much better. I really like being able to put items being subtracted into a bucket and getting them out of sight (and vice versa for addition), and then being able to tap them with a visible number showing up to get your answer. The aquarium reward system is great. That in itself teaches basic money concepts, such as saving up your coins to buy a bigger reward. The only complaint I'd have about that (and something to be aware of) is that she had already purchased 3 fish, and worked hard to save 10 coins to buy a 4 th. But the aquarium will only allow you to have 3 fish In it at a time, and you can't "take it back " to the store and trade it in on something else. So that was a wasted 10 coins that, as I say, we're well earned. Other than that it's a great app.

  • Best learning app so far

IMO, what sets it apart is that they learn even when they get the answer wrong. A major plus is that it offers up to 4 profiles for those of us with multiple kids/users. I love being able to track my kids progress and see what specifically they are getting right/wrong.

I like the adjustable rewards system - especially the fish tank. I do wish there was more rewards as my son has a full fish tank but is only halfway through game. Also the sticker screens sometimes allow stickers to pile up in corner that you can't move without accidentally pressing a button.

  • Incredible engaging educational app!

This is easily the best educational app series for kids. There is no other app in the same ballpark as this one. Brilliant design for teaching my 4 yr old how to do addition and subtraction. Spelling drills are also engaging. Even more brilliant is the way they gave the kids a prize every three correct questions similar to Monkey's preschool lunchbox. The kindergarten version gives the kids a coin and teaches them that more coins buy bigger prizes. Even more brilliant than that is that each learning category progressively gets harder so after 3+1, 4+1, etc is automatic it will work it's way up to 10+2 in slow increments of increasing difficulty. And it was only a dollar. My two year old also jumps on the kindergarten version instead of the toddler version that he normally likes. He is showing noticeable improvements in math and guessing the correct words. My only advice for the developer is to make better stickers that cost more coins than 1 or 2. I am guessing that boredom from the rewards will eventually be the reason my sons quit playing.

  • Fabulous app. My daughter keeps coming back to this one.

I love this app. Goal oriented which my daughter loves. Challenging and very educational. Highly recommend. Would love to see the app continue to older ages.
