It is sad that people rob and steal for a living, but it is worst when a business does it! The developers of this software are a bunch of cheaters robing others for their own profits. I paid for this app almost 5 years ago (with add-ons) and at the time it was a fair exchange. I was then asked to give a review to help boost sales. I gladly complied! However, for the sake of money and competition they have decided to change to a subscription policy with the latest update. I have no problem with businesses competing with other businesses, just don't rob and steal from your clients and those who gave you glaring reviews in the beginning. . . .sorry bunch of crooks!!! The best thing for this developer to do would have been to create an updated version of this app separately with new features that compete with other accounting apps and offer the updated version on a subscription basis. You will NOT be in business long when you do what this developer is doing. Don't subscribe, because the thief that developed this app is liable to change rules on you! Stay away!Show lessBuddyB1201
Really good, except for price
I got easy books to help me keep track of my landscaping business. It works very well, and has the features I want, from recurring transactions, and very easy to add new transactions. However, you only get 60 spaces, or 60 transactions. You then have to pay $32 to unlock unlimited transactions. Then another $32 for customer invoice, and so on. This amount seems to be pretty over the top and unreasonable, especially for something as simple
as having unlimited transaction space. The only thing that seems worth that price is the online sync and support. If they packaged all the other "add ons" into one $32 purchase, it would be far more reasonable, and would make much more sense.Show lessFixing young
Mobile Sync
I've had a few issues with this product, but for the most part it seems to work well. My main complaint is with the mobile sync, after I purchased the in app mobile sync I still had issues with getting an overlay on my invoices that said "sample". Then it magically started working but the invoices from the computer were all jacked up so I had to issue them from my phone or iPad to get one that had the right pricing. And about a week later I was notified that I had to renew my subscription, I thought it was a one time purchase.

Easy...as the App's name suggests
Very intuitive and easy to use app. Downloaded the app and literally had my profile and first month's transactions completed within 10 minutes. Very simply designed, and gives me exactly what I need. First 60 transactions are free which gives ample enough time to decide whether it's a keeper. Unlimited transactions after that for only $39. The reports are basic but again, suit my needs as I am a small business with online sales.Show lessgangy
So Far So Good
I have been looking for an inexpensive small business accounting app for awhile but didn't want a monthly subscription as I have sporadic income and lower transaction volume. This app fits the bill. The one time unlimited transaction charge was easy to swallow. I also noticed the abrupt change from 120 to 60 free transactions but fortunately hadn't reached the limit. Would like to see 1/10th hour increments in the time tracker. Easy interface. Easy to see and modify transactions. Good app, bad update
Extremely disappointed! Went to do the app update. Couldn't update. Kept telling me update didn't work, retry or cancel. In the meantime, no way to open the app. Only way to get it to work was to delete the app and reinstall. This, of course, also deletes ALL my data. Fortunately I had done a backup. Unfortunately the backup was over a month old. Don't know what the problem was but if this continues on future updates, it's an app killer for me. Lesson for me - do frequent backups. EasyBooks is truly easy!!
I never write reviews, but I'm gonna have to for this amazing app. If you're a small business owner and want to keep things simple, effective, convenient, and cheap, EasyBooks is for you. I've wasted so much money on accounting software with all the bells and whistles but the reality of it, some of us don't need all that. Some of us need something simple, and that's EasyBooks. The only thing I do have to suggest is an American setting. Great job overall, I have been recommending this to everyone.Show lessBryanBurndankk
Potential but needs improvements
Very flexible. I detest accounting apps that try to hide the accounts and the debits and credits. Easy Books gives you access to the underlying accounts.
Biggest problem for me is lack of support for cash-basis accounting. I can't prepare and send an invoice and then not have the amounts due appear as income (and in the P&L) until I receive payment. Support person tried to give me a workaround that didn't make sense. I can add a temporary adjustment I call Bad Debt reserve so the total sales nets to zero, but they still clutter up the P&L.
Maybe I could hide these accruals off-books by keeping a second set of books, but that is a nasty kluge. And frankly I'm not sure if it's possible to move transactions or balances between companies.
The reports are kind of basic. And the invoices don't look very professional.
This product could give Quickbooks a serious run for its money if they made a few enhancements.Show lessBoris_Chang
Love it
Been using it for several months, between my iPhone and iPad and really makes things easy for me as a one man band. Only improvement I'd request would be the ability to write Purchase Orders and create assemblies from my different materials in my stock. It's great because I can check customer balances, send a statement on the spot, send a receipt, send invoices, run reports etc. it simply makes my day a little easier.Show lessPeszly
The only app that costs hundreds of dollars to use in full
I have searched high and low for a program like this and right when you think you've found it...
Boom.
If you want to do ANYTHING you have to pay. 30$ to sync 40$ for transactions $50 for time clock. What is this a $1000 app? Yup. If you want it's full features! How is this even allowed by apple? And, on top of it all, the sync feature doesn't even sync in a readable format for your computer, and invoices don't get sent in a readable form either. So all in all you pay hundreds of dollars for an app that doesn't even function. I would pay 20 or 30 to be able to use this app in its ENTIRETY if everything actually worked. Fix your app and stop trying to get hundreds of dollars for it. It's an app.Show lessMztykk
