  • Now with unabridged version!

I'm still extremely impressed by the presentation of this book, but was disappointed when I realised we were reading an abridged version of the book. This has now been resolved in the latest update, I'm so happy, this is the edition I thought I had bought.

    Also, bookmarks please.
  • Finally (almost) unabridged

The main complaint about the previous version is that it was highly abridged, cutting down the Tea Party to a minimum and leaving the Mock Turtle out entirely (just to name a couple of the elisions). This latest version remedies that deficiency, containing the complete text - except for the last five lines! Also, there are no new animated pages - the unabridged portions contain elegantly formatted pages but not any more swinging watches or flying cards than are found in the abridged version.

  • Nice but could be better

Nice but for the high price the full story should have been offered. The concept is great but too much hype
  • Through the looking glass

I bought this book and was astonished by the interactivity.
However, I think they should include the second part to it called
" Through the Looking Glass" as an update. It'll be a huge
Way of bringing sales up concerning this book app. Please do
So because i'm pretty sure a lot of people are by now anticipating
    It.

  • No audio?????

It is a beautiful book, but no audio. Especially disconcerting when bottles drop, candies fall and other interactive events happen with dead silence. If you want to be highbrow and make children read the book instead of listening, fine. But please, give the interactive scenes sound effects.
  • Alice for Ipad not an Ibook

This is a stand alone app not a ibook version. I read a review and searched for it in ibooks. Great graphics, look forward the full text version ( this is abridged)
  • This book sets the bar!

This was the first book I bought for our iPad & I was amazed at how EVERY page is interactive! Needless to say after I bought another book & it had no interactive features, my daughter & I were disappointed. Haven't found another like it. When is the next one coming?
  • Great looking book

This is really a great looking book with clever moments of interactivity. However it does lack a read-along feature that is present in every other interactive book available in the app store. This would be a feature, as well as sound effects.
  • Beautiful, but disappointed…

Thought this would be a huge step up from the free Lite version and while there is more - it doesn't seem like the $8.99 spent bought a ton of extra content. My daughter was very disappointed at how condensed this abridged version was.
  • Woeful omission

Err.. Imagine reading a book and not being able to set a bookmark on the page you've got to? A fairly fundamental requirement to save where you've read to? Have I missed something or is this really not possible with this app?
