If you like tower defence games, this is one that you should have on all of your iOS devices. No in-app fluff or distractions from the meat of the game, just solid tower defence fun! You won't be disappointed.pghorner

Not worth the wait
What a let down this game is. Graphics are disappointing and the game is so very S...L...O...W to load, really what could it be possibly doing that takes so long?!? Its not like its loading big 3D maps or loads of enemies, perhaps it takes time to load the big child-like graphics. When it does load, it crashes far too often. I am a HUGE fan of the 1st Fieldrunners but in NO WAY does this live up to that game, the price is too high and the load times too long. Sorry guys but get your act together and produce something of the quality of Kingdom Rush.Show lessMcMonkfish

Great game. Mediocre execution. Terrible support.
A relatively expensive game for what is essentially 8 levels. That said, there is hidden depth within the game, and each level is varied and requires different strategy. Graphics are acceptable, if not exciting. Overall, a good challenging game.
Gameplay is solid although slightly unbalanced (a reoccurring problem with each tweak). Menus are not well designed. To find which levels/difficulty you have completed, you need to start a new game and enter the list of in-game achievements (some of which do not unlock). Game Centre achievements do not register at all. A problem which the developers have been made aware of daily for over a year now.
With a little more effort from the developers, this could easily be a five star rating. As it is, I likely won't purchase any of their future apps.Show lessSupaaafly

Good game but could do with some updates.
Great game, addictive with hours spent playing on it. Some issues with it, that get very annoying after a while. The monetary reward system is badly balanced, for example only getting one coin for heavies on bikes when heavies on foot give you two! Jeeps only worth 2? Really?!
Could also do with an almanac of the enemies, knowing what their weaknesses and strengths are. We mostly play co-op multiplayer, but we're getting very bored of playing the same level over and over again.
Please give us an update, or at least tell us why there hasn't been one for so long, as we really like the game.Show lessJ.m.clerck
5 Stars.... If it would stop crashing :(
Absolutely LOVE this game!!! Spent hours playing on my iPod and then paid the extra to upgrade for the iPad ... Worth every penny!!! However, the latest upgrade causes the game to crash constantly. Sometimes when I save the game, it won't let me resume and just closes down, or else it freezes mid game before crashing again.
I've tried deleting and re-installing the game but apart from having to start each game from scratch again, the issues are the same.
Please Please Please sort the bugs and let this game receive the 5 stars it deservesShow lesslilaclady79
Addictive
One of the best games for the iPhone which just got better for he iPad. Amazing graphics and love the music. Level of detail is superb. What I liked about field runners was they then started adding more levels too.
Major negative component is the constant crashing. I don't know whether this is because of the iOS or what, but it's been going on a while now and some games you just can't complete. It happens virtually every time I play now and I can never resume a game. That sends it into major crash spasms. They really do need to fix this as its killing the reputation of what is one of the greatest games for the iPad.
