Major Note Synchronization Rewrite and Revision: Changes: - Add a TXT Record containing the UDID (universal identifier) of the iDevice, to the NSNetService instance (TopXNotes Sync service.) The UDID is used by TopXNotes Mac to identify the iDevice for Sync purposes. - Improved code that establishes the UDID for the iDevice and implemented new Apple recommended software UDID as Apple is removing the old UDID calls we were using in iOS 7. - Fixed problem of Sync failing because the notepad received "in one fell swoop" is too large and causes memory failure. Fix involved breaking the reception of the notepad into small blocks. - Fixed problem of Sync not re-enabling when TopXNotes becomes active again after an iOS 7 device has gone to sleep or TopXNotes has gone to the background. - Fixed "notepad not sorting" after Sync. - Tweaked so that works reliably with Tropical Store target which using CocoaAsyncSocket. - Implemented a marker after iOS-sent notepad file so that MacOS can detect the end of file. - Implemented GCDAsyncSocket (slightly modified) to replace existing hand coded TCP networking code.

CHANGED FEATURES • WiFi NoteSync disabled (on Mac side) if OS X version is less than 10.5 because it requires 10.5 or later • Added checks for nil device UDIDs, noteIDs, dates. • Added create date to model/note to be used during NoteSync. • Added code to prevent net service from appearing more than once in Mac sync window list. • Improved handling of large files (many notes) and handling of nil note IDs and other unusual conditions. FIXED • Fix very rare "Broken Pipe &" errors when syncing. • Add code to fix bogus dates (12/31/00 6 PM). • TopXNotes now checks for compatible NoteSync services on Mac and iOS device and will not attempt sync between incompatible versions. If you suspect a problem be sure you have the latest versions on iOS and Mac.

NoteOrganizer (note list) now can be sorted by note title or date, and by ascending or descending for either. Other changes include changing the user interface default fonts to a more popular font. The NoteOrganizer list titles, list dates, search, email, and the default note font are now the preferred iOS system font (Helvetica.) Also in TopXNotes touch 1.2.2 we made even more changes to accommodate retina display and new screen sizes in iPhone 5 and iPad 3.

New button art, dark gray background removed in About, slight About text rewording, new fields added for future expansion, sync screen no longer has spinner up constantly, sync complete message removed.

Head's-up display to temporarily change note font size and Email contents of a note. Added Note Preferences to set Font and Font Size Settings. NoteSync enabling/disabling is now persistent until changed by user. Note editing now controlled via an Edit button.

Note Synchronization set up simplified. A TopXNotes Mac product code (serial number) is no longer required.
