I like it! However....
I really like this BUT I have yet to find out IF or HOW to merge my info/notes on different IOS devices...I have written the creator of this app twice, I believe his name was Steve and have never yet heard back from him or anyone on how to do this or if it just can not be done...
If I write on my iPad I’d like to be able to see it on my iPhone an not have the diary of notes in different locations. Does anyone know how or if this can be done...other than that I have no complaints that I know if so far.Show lessCaptmom
Things have changed
I gave this app a glowing report in 2015. Now it has let me down badly. All my entries have gone and and I relied upon it to record many overseas trips. All gone! I am disappointed to say the least. Formerly great
It used to be a great journaling app, certainly the best for my needs. Then, the author lost interest, stopped updating to keep pace with iOS changes, stopped answering customers and the app became of limited use. Classic story... In my case, at some point I lost the ability to change the date of an entry, which is a major bug. I use the small-format iPhone SE and in entry editing mode, the date disappears outside the screen and cannot be brought back in. I wrote to the author a couple of times but got no reply. And now two years have passed since the last app update - so, buyer beware!Show lessRandi Mo
Good App, among many less than satisfactory ones
I enjoying this App as is is, although I wouldn’t mind being able to edit fonts and so on.
Please don’t force us to upgrade to any new version that’s going to make this handy Journal less than it is.Raggedybluehat

AKA Steven - I have given the app 5 Stars because it’s the replacement Journal I was looking for. My concern is that Steven has walked away from this app and eventually the newer iOS will not support the current app which is exactly what happened to the last journal I was using. Why do this? Really good journaling app
I researched different ones and am not disappointed I chose Chronicle.
I was going to give 5 stars; in the end I didn’t because one change I’d like to see would be automatic back up and synchronisation on other devices with iCloud.
Easy to use, does the job, I like features eg the ability to insert pictures etc.Show lessihopmiss
Great app but few problems
I’ve been using this app for quite some time. I’m not sure why, but if you miss a day and want to enter the info and select the entry button, it takes you to the current day and I’ve been told you can make the entry and then once entered , just open the entry and then tap on the date and it will allow you to change the date. But the date is hidden way at the top of the entry and hidden under the top bar and not accessible. When I hold down my finger on the page and try and scroll the page up to access the date and once I let go the page jumps back down to the bottom. So trying to change a date is impossible. This only seems to be when using a iPhone. On the iPad I can change the date fine. I do like this app over all.Show lessRays bills

I have been looking for something suitable for me for ages, tried all sorts and then deleted them from my apps, until I found this.
It is brilliant, I love all of it really. I did pay the extra to get rid of adverts and to have extra pages open at the same time and I am so glad I did, well worth paying for.
It’s good to be able to add relevant photos if you want to as well.

I've got 40 years of news writing experience. This and Chapters have helped me lose more than I've written! Today 7900 words gone. Poof.
Have written to developer many many times.
Then one day I heaped to tapp on an app I've passed by many times. God bless this developer! What an incredible tool. Please be way of this app.
