Frustrating
Why doe it take 15 hours or 4 days to read or not, some people rudely ignore the message, also which I don’t get is going well they a replying minutes after, until they read the message which lets u know right corner by a little Green tick, but they sadly get back maybe 7, or more hours. Profile pic which clearly says upload your face pic not of your cat ect, they get thought Face ID recognition scanner, then they change the profile to a Cartoon character or something else what they uploaded, I think MeetMe should think about there application, because u get some people asking for money ect

Kidding Me?
Ads, ads, ads, and more adds?…wtf??? Now streamer are getting ads! Such a waste of time! Bots, fakes, frauds, scammers! Pathetic fr!!
Horrible experience on first day
I tried posting this review 10x as a 1 star rating. If it’s posted as 3stars or more shows there’s people being blocked from giving low ratings.
I just created an account earlier today. Was on the app for 2hrs max casually browsing around and only messaged 1 person. Suddenly I was logged out couldn’t log in tried to reset my password couldn’t do it. I reached out to support they said my account was PERMANENTLY banned for violating terms of service??? I was floored!!! Literally just got on the app to be permanently banned?? I asked for details haven’t heard back yet. Based on the other reviews seems like I won’t get details and this is a trend. I’m upset because I really wanted stream on the app and never got the opportunity to. The only thing I could think of is if the 1 guy I was messaging reported me after I ignored his advances cause I got logged out right after he messaged questioning if I’m ignoring him. I feel like banning someone on their FIRST day on the app is excessive. No warning of wrongdoing (which I literally did nothing wrong) just ban. I’m still confused how and why I’m banned.

New ad delivery a mess
The ads were always kind of nonsensical on this app but with the recent update, having streams interrupted by ads I find myself using the app less. Having a stream interrupted by ads kills the vibe of chatting with people when someone is talking to you and suddenly you have an ad for some crappy mobile game and you miss what they said. you guys know you have a live streaming platform and this isn’t YouTube where you can pause and start up again with a mid roll ad.
Downgraded from two stars to one because the ads are even worse than they were before. we just go to different apps a.k.a. 90% of the user base.

Not satisfied
First went on MeetMe in 2020 originally started on SKOUT in 2018 then i would get banned and have errors.. got device banned on both, then at the start of the yr i signed in on meetme through google (beta meetme) and having invalid login errors there too when the login info is correct very frustrating why is there 2 versions anyway? I made some cool friends on MeetMe too and got no other way to talk to them the app needs an update to get rid of bugs, glitches, scammers, and bots and to be able to work properly and not ban ppl for no reason.

Great app, absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!
I have been a long time user of meetme since 2019. Never having any problems or getting banned or in any kind of trouble.
I’m good friends and a big supporter of many of the “top badges” on the app.
The app has been great for me to try to socialise more due to anxiety however the app auto device bans incorrectly and when you reach out to the “support” team via email, they tell you that there’s no bans or restrictions and no reason why you can access your account, give you general trouble shooting and when that doesn’t work they just stop replying all together!! I have been trying to resolve this issue with my account since 2020 because I really enjoy streaming and using this app and the great friends I’ve made but the app doesn’t care about the little guys even if they have potential to do well on the app very very disappointing to say the least!!

UNFAIR
This app was good at one point. Now they have Admins working for them and making money of streamers to get peoples account closed for no reason. There is a streamer going around reporting accounts stating they are violating the terms of use. They believe everything due to this streamer knowing someone on the inside closing accounts. Then you email them, they take long to respond and they tell you “your account was closed for violating “terms of service”. Then you asked them and they don’t show you proof of what you did wrong. What happen to getting banned for a day, a week and now they don’t even do that. There is so much to read the terms of service that if you ask 99.9% of streamers never read it. Why not tell the streamer what they did wrong and Am sure they will learn. But you are losing more streamers. This person is yet to be banned or deleted. This is how this app makes money. They wait til your on the top and poof they take all your money and diamonds. Black VIPs have also had their account closed. This is injustice and something must be done. Stop allowing admin to delete accounts for no reason. Find solutions instead of loosing good streamers. BBB has been contacted and reported. Bad business and experience this has been with this app and their affiliated apps. No respond from emails for weeks. They have nothing to say and nothing to prove that I violated the term of service.

Has become less accessible over time
I’ve been an off and on member of this app for several years now, and i’ve never had this issue before I use a setting called VoiceOver that helps me navigate my device due to the fact that I’m completely blind, and for some reason, it does not want to navigate the screen whenever I try and login or sign up this issue never occurred back in 2018 when I was using this app on my original iPad but I’ve noticed overtime not just with this app but with other apps that the VoiceOver setting doesn’t work as well as it used to with these types of apps I would love for this to be updated or looked at because I do enjoy talking to the genuine people that I do find on here if this was able to be fixed, I would give this app five stars

First, “vеrified” meаns you scanned a picture. Verification mеans absolutely nothing. Verified should mean real account, but оbviоusly it doesn’t. This aрp has always had soooоoo much potential, but the biggest issue has always been bots. I say bots аnd not fake users for a reаson. I’m positive at this pоint the developers are creating fake accounts to keep up the user count, interactions, аnd most importantly the ad rеvenue. This wаs once a place to meet cool people, dating or not. Now it’s infested with fake profilеs and the company does not care in the slightеst. There’s a reason they automatically block accounts for yоu when yоu report thеm. What’s that reason? They run thоse bot accounts and you can’t see that accоunt still exists once it’s blockеd. This is such a sad collapse for something that usеd to be better thаn any other similar app. Yeah, we all knоw Tindеr and Bumblе have scammers, but this is bеing run by the dev tеam and it’s extremеly sad. Maybe if they put mоney back intо their comрany instead of pocketing it they could be successful. This app needs rebranding, an entirely new UI, and sophisticated algorithms to get you to interact with people you’d actuаlly like tо see. Thе REAL people are actuallу still cool to intеract with, but gоod luck finding them. 2 stars for the potential. Fоr the dev teаm? No stars. Hapрy hunting!

Used to be good
Used to be great then they made the focus live streaming with little attention seekers. Hate it now, can’t even post statuses or have normal convos. Most users are fake and the ones that are look like 3 generations of interbreeding. The worst part is the login issues, you get logged out constantly, they hate people who use VPN’s because they clearly sell your data. The customer support is awful, I got through to someone about getting access to my account and they said a generic response and afterwards never got back to me , I even sent images of the issue happening and still no reply. They’re a bunch of fraudsters, using your data, probably borderline malware at this point and they don’t even allow you to login half the time. Be warned, don’t download this terrible app (scam)
