  • Old & barely functional

App needs an update to provide basic functionality such as a bulk delete. Additionally, and this might require a back-end update, moving a vm to the DELETED folder should trigger an automatic permanent delete within a configurable time period. As it stands now, you must 1st delete from the inbox and THEN delete from deleted items folder or the messages continue to hold up space. Finally, enabling the ability to allow your mailbox to purge the oldest message upon a new message arrival (when mailbox is full) would be a good option as well.

  • Could be better

I like the fact that I can check my voicemails from my phone. That’s very helpful. However, the transcription is horrible! None of the words match ever. It’s also hard to listen to the messages. It’s like the volume is low.

If the transcription feature gets better I think the app would be more helpful.

  • Can’t count on it

Since ATT upgraded lines in my neighborhood we have had to log in to our landline twice to get the light to stop flashing. I gave up trying to get an Att person to understand the problem. I thought this app might help with that annoyance. It does, I listen to message on app, hit delete and light on my landline goes away! Awesome, one login! However, about half the time I pull the app up it won’t put a curser on the login space so, I can’t even logon on the app. 😬 So it’s back to the landline, login, listen delete, Hangup, login again, listen to it tell me I have have no messages, hang up, watch flashing light go off.😬😬

  • Works, even though it’s ugly

The app is perfectly useful. It looks like it was designed for the very first iPhone, so it’s pretty hideous. But don’t let the looks fool you. It works just fine. I do hope their app team gets a little love, or they open the API to let someone else modernize this.
  • Works fine

Had this on my phone worked great. Lost my phone and got a replacement phone voicemail stopped working. Support (Ben) spent quite awhile working to get it working again and succeeded. A few days later voicemail stopped again. Support tried again but we couldn’t get it to work. Contacted AT & T spent over 1 1/2 hrs and two techs finally got it working. Was a phone problem and not Virtual Voicemail program. Working great again !

  • Behind the Times

Fine if you want to check land line messages from a digital device, but lacks functionality found in Comcast’s Xfinity Connect app. With XC I could receive texts to my land line as well as make and receive calls from my iPad. I feel as if I’ve taken a step backward by switching to AT&T—at least in regard to this aspect of digital service.

  • Useful! - also recommend caller block for spam

We get a lot of spam calls - on cell phones we can block the number but haven’t been able to on our AT&T land line. This system could add that feature!
  • Works well, but please don’t log short messages

Works well, and is fast to launch. However, hang up robocalls show up and send notifications, which is annoying. Can you make it so 5 second (or less) calls with no voice don’t get logged and don’t notify me? Thanks.
  • Needs Work

Just ok; VM Viewer makes it easy to retrieve messages on your land line when you’re away from home. Transcription needs major improvements but you can usually get the gist of the message. A significant and much needed feature is blocking unknown/spam callers. With no other changes that feature alone would increase my rating to 5.

  • Okay, needs improvement

This app works fine for checking my home voice messages. Listening to voicemails is pretty straightforward. The transcription is useful. But I wish it had the ability to change the alert tone to something more significant. My biggest disappointment now is now they’ve taken away the ability to forward the voice message in an email. That was really useful.
