This app is designed for mainland chinese customers. It will have several times the selection as the English version of the app because it will show all the hotels, even the ones that are not licensed to accept foreigners. It will let you book a room and pay and then when you arrive the hotel will tell you that they can not accept foreigners. Then you have to call and get a refund from Ctrip. If you use this app and are a foreigner, make sure the hotel is available in the english version of the app and then book using the chinese app because the chinese app will let you pay via unionpay/Wechat/alipay. The english app only works with MasterCard/visa.
