Inconvenient. Tedious.
This app is multi tiered and a real bother to use. If I leave the app to answer a call or check my email, it automatically signs me out and I’m forced to go through all the levels of signing in again, then relocating the document I was working on. Really like the deep linking functionality ,
I click on Egnyte link in my gmail and it would automatically open the document in the app. Great experience .
Now also integrate with the camera, can take multiple shots and upload - super fast.

App crashes too often
The app crashes every time I download more than 10 consecutive photos and try to text photos to clients. And once it crashes once, it takes forever to reload and then crashes every time a new download is initiated.amptsx

An has-been app/buyer beware
I once touted this app as a must have for small businesses, but it’s only current worth is to recommend it to your competitors so they spend valuable resources working with Egnyte tech support.
The app and its “upgrades” have degraded significantly over the 2 yrs we’ve been customers. I’m currently traveling, I can’t get to Wi-Fi for my laptop, my app is frozen updating the file server (Egnyte side issue), and I have a client requesting information I can’t get to yet. I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app to no avail. I’ve spoken to tech support, they just pushed it up (or down) the chain of command. 6 hrs and no update, no response. He’ll, if it’s something I’ve done, I’ll give a glowing review, but how do I know when there is no communication. If you don’t need the mobile app, the desktop version works about 95% of the time and I can recommend it, but proceed with caution. You’ve been warned. 2 stars because of desktop.Show lessA. Richard

By far the fastest way to create, collaborate and find docs
Egnyte just works. It’s by far the fastest way to create and find documents. It’s also a convenient way to collaborate with others when you need to definitively identify the correct file version.
As a user I know exactly who has access to my files and easily revoke or change access.
Last: the speed. My clients are surprised how quickly they can send us files that are sometimes > 10GB.

Very Robust
Very intuitive, easy to use. I have had a great experience, especially when marking documents and drawings. Could of wishlist items:
- Been able to rename the Bookmarks
- When Saving documents/drawings back to the server, the bookmark option would be very helpful.

Great product- some improvement needed though
I use Egnyte all the time and really like the product. However, the Webedit function doesn’t work for one of my teammates. Egnyte support found a way around it but it’s clunky.ohchrisio
The app works great
I’ve used Dropbox, Box and Egnyte for work across the last 12 years and find the Egnyte app to be easy to use, intuitive and has all the functionality that I expect. I’m filing docs from my phone, accessing them from the iPad and laptop, or going the opposite direction and don’t remember a single problem with the app. Be sure you download and install the laptop-sync app on your laptop to get full cloud-sync functionality.Show lessCozyMolars
