  • Beyond Happy

    ECKHART TOLLE’S FRIEND:
“I am going on a spiritual retreat, and they offer a smorgasbord of classes. Should I take this ‘chakra energy’ class, or this ‘dream interpretation’ class, or this ‘contacting your spirit guides’ class?”

ECKHART TOLLE: “Those all sound wonderful but you know, you could simply pay attention to your breathing- whenever you are able to- and in one year, your life would be unrecognizable.”

  • Doesn’t work and needs notifications on.

It simply doesn’t work and you can’t just have it operate in the background. It needs notifications on so it’s always on...
  • Not sure about the bell

I was very disappointed about the pitch of the bell. It sounds cheap - rather too high and nothing like a majestic Tibetan bowl. It would be vastly improved if you could offer a range of sounds. Right now I feel it’s 99p wasted because the sound l, far from centring and relaxing, is irritating. Here’s hoping you add deeper more mindful sounds to the next update.

  • Simple and Beautiful, like Thich Nhat Hahn

I read about Thich Nhat Hahn’s simple practice of taking 3 breaths at the sound of a bell 40 years ago. Unfortunately I’ve never had a monk following me around with a bell. Now I have a Mindfulness Bell in my pocket! Such a wonderful practice. Thanks for making this available to all us lay practitioners. 🙏

  • Love me some Mindfulness

I love that this simple little bell reminds me to focus on the here and now
  • Love it! Exactly what I needed!

I didn't know this existed, yet it was what I wanted to make for myself.....& luckily I found it. (Or had good karma) Anyhow I love it! Much gratitude for the person who made it! I just wish I could make it louder on my ipad. Otherwise perfect! Again very grateful 😊
  • Keeps me aware of how long things take!

Some thing I think take a long time and not long for others...many I am wrong because I am time blind. This is great to keep me aware and remind me to take breaks or if I’m dawdling too long or have gone down a rabbit hole not related to what I want to be doing. And can set bell to not disturb those around me. Great App!!

  • Brilliant app

Simple to use, lovely bell and it gets me to centre myself several times an hour—which has a huge effect on my calmness and clarity going through the day!
  • Limited options for bell timing

Old version was simple and allowed for random bells over short time spans. This new version feels like random source-forge timer code. It just does not allow what I enjoyed.
  • works, but...

This app works well enough for what it is. I grabbed it primarily because it was one of the few apps I could find that offered bells at random intervals; while these do work fine, I wish the app would actually display the correct number of remaining bells as they progress. Example: If you set it to ring randomly twice an hour, beginning at 10am and stopping at 9pm, it'll show a list of upcoming bells which all simply read '-random bell-', and shows the remaining bell count at 22. But as the bells begin to go off, this list remains unchanged, and the remaining bell count stays locked at 22. In other words, no indication of progress at all.
Again, this is a fairly minor issue considering they the app does what it's meant to do, but I wish they'd fix it so that the random bell times were actually displayed, and the remaining count kept accurate.
