Good, fun, but far from perfect. Audiobus support is a plus. Crash sometimes. Lack of factory samples. Lack of usability.Hellwoodice
Buggy
Community page crashes. Makes weird glitchy feedback when in background. Audio paste does not work so I can't use my own samples. What could be awesome is instead frustrating and disappointing. I complained in the app support page but they have not revealed any solutions to my problems and all I can hope for is a new updated version with the bugs all worked out.Show lesswiliam010010110101
Great potential, terrible controls.

Best ten bucks spent yet..for those it doesn't work for, or closes... It takes a lot of ram.. Close apps,, maybe,clean your pod once a year and it'll work duh..but it is amazing.. Purchase if you can;)Nagy6969

I'd have rated this two stars, but after the community feature It's five star minus one. The lacking star is fir the lack of true modularity, and because any truly useful composition must come from outside the app.
I think it could be more clear this an awesome remixer for live performances after you have a decent set of loops generated elsewhere. It excels in creating a billion unique variations drawing from concepts from sequencer, filters, modular synths and other musical manipulation ideas. It's also very good at letting you manipulate things in realtime using just one screen but in a powefull, trully productive way.Show lesspreemption

A Fresh Take on Production
I had never heard or the original Reactable but this incarnation is innovative and very well made. It's very different from standard music programs and does have a tough learning curve but the instructions are simple and more importantly, the interface is slick and accessible so you actually want to learn how to use it. I'm still getting used to it but it's money we'll spent for such a unique program.Show lessJMG0032

This is by far the best music making app out there and is very fun to play with and mess around with. However when I go to add a new table it adds it, but when I put different things out it doesn't make any noise, so I have to base everything on the samples and work around it. AMAZING CREATIVITY AND PRODUCTION!
The Reactable concept is about using a modular based system for creating full songs in real time, and the control you have is very powerful. The scope is very impressive as it really gives you total control over all your sounds and the song in real time, and you can easily control all the parameters like filters, modulators, wave shapers and delay effects as you go.
You start with a tempo pulse which can then run a sound generator like a sampler, loop player, oscillator or mic. You use the effects and other controllers like sequencers, LFOs or even the accelerometer to manipulate the original generated sound. You can even change the key of your work all while your song is playing.
You can also record your performances, and even become part of the on-line Reactable Community, where you can also share your own song creations or re-mix other people's creations and then further share that creation.
This really is a very intuitive interface for enabling amazing creative scope, everything is right there in front of you waiting for manipulation. I really can't stop using this app because it really offers easy yet detailed song creation capabilities.Show lessTrasswoman

It's a lot of fun to play around with and create with, but it doesn't lack a learning curve. The beginning tutorial tips don't go too deep into everything, so you have to look at the online manual that comes with it. Overall, I think it's a good music making app that's worth the 10$.
