Never going back to another doctor
HANDS DOWN the best app/service/doctors/treatment. I’ve been loyal to onemedical for 3 years now. During shelter in place I moved to Fresno where OneMedical doesn’t have an office so I went to a traditional doctor. I will never do that again. I didn’t realize how lucky I was with onemedicals service until I had to wait 3 hours to video chat a doctor, didn’t hear back from them (re: my lab results) for 2 weeks, no one answered the phones during those 2 weeks, and it was obvious I was just another patient to them. OneMedical treats me with so much care. They are responsive and attentive. They are always available and always kind. I’m forever obsessed with OneMedical.

No Access
My experience overall has not been good. The app was not accepting may password. When I tried to reset the password the app dialog instructed me to wait for a password reset option to appear in my email. This did not happen. I repeated this process over ten times in the course of a month. When I tried calling the phone number was inactive.I tried again recently and did receive an email reset. This is frustrated to have a subscription and not have access. The text is invisible or colored white on a white background as I write this review. This is probably an error in the app. There will probably be many typos but I can’t see the text to correct it.

Great Service!
I really appreciate the fact that I can consult with a medical professional by phone or video chat, and they have access to my entire medical history. I receive sound medical advice that I can trust, and it’s quick and efficient. All providers with whom I have spoken are polite, caring, and professional. OneMedical has a great business model that fits my needs perfectly.

Worth the extra money
I have heard some people say the extra annual fee at One Med puts them off. I have always found One Med to be a great Healthcare resource. As they have grown, there definitely have been more mixups with information and getting everything right the first time. The staff has consistently been lovely to work with, no matter what. Never a harsh word even if I’m aggravated. I have had the same primary doc for the entire more than 10 years I have been supported through several heavy-duty medical procedures. I could create this as an infomercial—but I’ll leave by saying One Medical Group is a fabulous medical resource!

Amazing Care and Completely Worth the Yearly Membership Fee
I’ve been a member at one Medical for at least three years. It’s so easy to find someone to see when you need medical help at any of their locations around the city. Everything goes into my chart so any doctor I speak to has all my informal and can pick up where we last left off. That’s the best and most important offering to me. I am confident I’m getting the best care and my interests are most important, not just billing enough patients in a day. Highly recommend them!

Best way to get quick medical advice
Super easy and effective way to medical advice. My wait times have been under 10 minutes every time. Feels reassuring as they will say things like ‘rest it 3 more days and see how it feels’ or ‘that is something you want to check out in person, can I schedule something for you?’ Better than searching the internet for information.

Excellent video care
I just talked with Dr Barbara Trask via video link after suffering a bad fall and landing on my chin (heavily!) while walking our dogs last night. I was worried about concussion because I had experienced some nausea, but Dr Trask checked with me and I seemed to have done everything right. She told me that I would just be observed for concussion symptoms. I had wondered whether I should go to prompt care for an X-ray or scan. I didn’t want to drive anywhere and being able to check via video was extremely helpful, as was Dr Trask.

Messages to doctors silently fail to send
I hadn't received a response after a few days from my practitioner to a medical question I had messaged through the app. I checked the message thread and saw that the message had never been sent. I never saw a message telling me the message hadn't been sent, it just failed silently. When I tried to resend the message it failed again with no guidance on what was wrong or how to remedy the problem. For a healthcare system, this is extremely irresponsible, and for many time sensitive medical questions could mean life or death. At minimum make sure the user knows nobody is seeing their messages so they can get help elsewhere.

Just the best service
So convenient! I just love that I can get help and advice for an ailment through the app quickly and conveniently any time day or night.
I am a busy professional and seem to fall ill at the most inconvenient times, like on a business trip or on weekends. The best part of being a member of One Medical is being able to reach a a care professional through the app at anytime day or night on my schedule. There is always someone available to me to answer my questions, treat my current symptoms and give me advice until I can see a doctor in person. I can even schedule my appointments. This service and the medical advice I’ve received has been invaluable in getting and keeping me healthy.

Could be a great app, but has very frustrating bugs
In general, the One Medical app is a great way to quickly communicate with my medical provider. But there are two super frustrating bugs I hope the team could fix. One, the app frequently deletes draft messages when you switch to another app. If you’re writing a message with long prescription names answering detailed questions from your medical provider, then lose everything, it’s brutal. Secondly, the app disabled basic copy and paste when you’re writing messages. So don’t bother trying to compose messages in another app to avoid losing your data. You won’t be able to share that information with your medical provider. Please fix these minor bugs, One Medical team, and your otherwise great app will be wonderful for your patients. Thanks!
