Excellent App, highly recommend

This app is garbage now

This app used to be really good. No issues. Then in the last couple of years, it's gone downhill. Features don't work. Notifications are hit and a miss.Sometimes I get them. Sometimes I don't. But within the app, I always ask to be notified.

One feature that's a complete waste of time, is the redirect of packages to another address. It's available in the app. But the last two times I used it, my packages went from my city, to another part of the country. Had to wait another week for it to get back to my city. Then another two days for them to re-process it and send it to the designated address. And according to Canada Post, they can't even guarantee it will be re-directed. So why even bother giving us the option?? Again. WASTE OF TIME.

The last package never got to me. Shipper had to resend a replacement for the replacement. And Canada Post managed to mess that up too. According to the app, it was delivered...to the wrong address, AGAIN. So now I have to wait IF the people who got it, will even ship it back out. And because of Canada Post's mess up, I have to jump through hoops again to get a replacement. CP. GOING DOWN HILL. With no sign of improvement. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Not user friendly

It doesn’t show me the information I need and I’m unable to find that information. The contact us option also isn’t helpful

No correlation betweenMy Mail and actual delivery

I really don’t understand this My Mail system. I get messages every day of mail arriving but I rarely get any mail delivered. On average one of ten mail pieces actually arrives at my mail box. There is either a problem with the My Mail app or a problem with our mail person.

No Details

I don’t understand the point of a daily notice that something is coming in the mail today. No idea what.
In the USA the postal service system scans the mail and sends images of what is to arrive today. This is just a waist of my time.

Not very informative

I have a residence in the US and subscribe to their app of the same purpose. They have the technology to capture a picture of the mail that is being sent and send me corresponding emails of such. Canada Post does not, only stating I am receiving mail and sender unknown, but have no problem sending me emails of the junk mail I am receiving. Could we catch up with what the US is doing?

Originally when I left my first review it was through the actual App and not the App store, I was not able to read what I was typing and I screenshot it for proof. The other issue was that even after verifying multiple times including the 2 step verification they did not want to accept my verify for "mymail" so everything else was accepted except for that one part of the App which is nonsense as I already verified multiple times for everything else! You'd think a Federal Government would know how to Program an App properly, then again it's "canada". They can't even respectfully "run" a Country properly........

Good app, but …

Good app in general, useful to see when a package is delivered BUT : Why do they ask to confirm by adding to postal code ??? The app is on my cell phone that is locked ask a thumbprint maybe, but often I don’t know the silly postal code by heart, to me that’s a real bad idea and I don’t see where anyone benefits, you already have the tracking number, so why ask for the postal code ?? Silly !!

Nice improvements

There are some nice new features like automatic shipment matching and push updates. I do like the app in general.
