This app works. I have yet to have any problems with I phone. To test app I spent at least 2 hours switching everything, no crash problems. Thank you Nikon. Great products at what I call a justifiable cost. I was going to spend 3k+ on a scope. No need. Once you learn the power settings and understand the mirage calling wind you don’t need a reticle that looks like a box of tooth pics.

  • Fire?

What did you do with the “fun” of laying out new range specs and being able to hear the “fire” when you hit the fire button? I sure hope y’all aren’t caving to some deranged pc complainers. Bring back the FIRE.
  • Spoton app freezes on my iPhone 7 Plus

This app is excellent and is “Spot On” as far as ballistics and the BDC scale. The software only works on my home PC (Windows 10). It freezes on my iPhone 7 Plus and iPad2 (both IOS 12.2), making this software useless at the rifle range. A shame. Please, tech support, update your Spot On app! Email sent to Tech Support.

  • Needs ammo update

The app crashes when a profile is deleted and there is missing ammo (Nosler Trophy Grade 243, 90 grain accubond as an example).

Any way you can update this? Otherwise, I’d give it a 4-5 star.
  • FIX

This app worked flawlessly for years. Now when I hit “FIRE,” the app just closes and sends me back to my main phone screens. (iPhone 7) Sometimes it tells me to choose my scope again in Step 1. When I touch Step 1, the app closes. It seems to work for my P-Rimfire scope but not my P-308 scope. What has changed? Please fix. This WAS the greatest app. Now, annoying and makes me wish I had different company’s scope. HELP!!!!!!!!

  • Not for .22 Rimfire II - see update on 3/4/19

This app does not work for the Prostaff Rimfire II and Federal .22’s. It either abends (IT speak for abnormal end) or doesn’t show drop scale on “fire”. It no longer works for my .223, either.
Do not buy a Nikon with the hope of using this app in conjunction with the BDC reticle - you will be very disappointed.

    Update 3/4/19:
Recent update to app made 5 days ago has corrected the above issues I had with it. It can now be trusted!

  • 5 Stars after update!!!!!

Finally!! The ability to save multiple scopes with different calibers!! Great!! Works flawlessly!!! One wish would be the ability to name them. Great app. Thanks!!!
  • Finally I Can Save Profiles

This app has always worked for me and I’ve been amazed and how accurate it is with bullet drop. I just have to pick the right part of the appropriate circle and it’s game on every time. My only gripe all along was I had to reenter the scope (only Nikons), gun, and ammo selection every time I switched from slug gun, muzzleloader, and multiple rifles depending on the different game and phases of the hunting season. Now, I have a profile for each different firearm and scope in my safe. What a difference it makes to quickly switch to the profile I need when I head out instead putting in everything each time. Thanks Nikon!

  • Still needs updated

I like this app, but it keeps crashing on me. Deleted and reinstalled it, but still keeps crashing.

Update. Nikon FINALLY responded to my emails. They assured that there is an updated version for the app. They are waiting on Apple to push it to the AppStore. But, this was almost 2 weeks ago.. Not sure what’s really going on now.

  • App keeps crashing

I have a few Nikon scopes, and love them. The spot on website works great, but the app crashes every time I try to use it. It would be a great app if it would work
