  • Would be great if they would fix it

Bought a Nikon 3x32 BDC scope and would love to use this app to shoot with but it freezes most of the time when you hit FIRE thereby making the most important info (holdovers) unavailable. The few times I've gotten it to go through it's been great. How about some support Nikon? Judging from the reviews, this has been going on for months. How about some help. And while you're at it, put in a variable for barrel lengths

  • Crashes constantly

A good app if it would stay running long enough to use it. Crashes at random times so you rarely actually get the data you are looking for.
  • App Crashes

Same review as others. Worked great, then updated. After that it started crashing. Works with some scopes and loads but I primarily use it for a .22 with the pro staff 3-9 target efr scope. You can load all your data in but once you hit FIRE it crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled the app several times and still have the same issue. Hope they get it corrected soon I enjoyed using it when it worked. Currently am using other apps but liked this one for its simplicity.

  • Good Ballistics

Overall gives ballistics of several bullet mfg’s. Very good and easy to use. The only problem I’ve had is app starting to lock up. I’ve used for couple years without problems but in last few days locking up.
  • App crashes

It worked once and then keep crashing. Please fix.
  • Works great!

I used this at the range for several settings of .22 LR and .17 HMR. It works great on my phone (iPhone SE) and really helps set my guns. Also good for the old discontinued model Slug Hunter BDC I’m using.

    Will definitely recommend to others.
  • Nikon App Flat Out Works

I’m very surprised and somewhat skeptical to read so many negative reviews. I got the Nikon SpotOn app many years ago after buying a Nikon scope. I’ve used this app year after year for mid to long range shooting and hunting in conjunction with several Nikon scopes (only brand of scope I currently buy now). This app has assured me shooting solutions for first round hits on targets down range, when I do my part of course. I would go as far as to say that this app has been essential at even putting food on the table for at least two longer range hunting shots on Pronghorn that I would not have taken had it not been for the ballistic charts and tables provided. Thank you, Nikon.

  • Love this app

I was surprised after reading many negative reviews how well this app actually works. All my standard ammo is preloaded and the only way to describe is it’s amazing!

The tables are also easy to use!

I think there is still a glitch that needs to be fixed with the estimated atmospheric conditions by current location settings. I’ve turned on location and I get the “circle of death” waiting for the data to load. Until this error gets fixed, I load the data manually with info from a weather app.

Overall, I love this app and find myself comparing ballistics data from different bullet makers to add to my ammo collection.

  • Spot On Crashes

This was a great and extremely useful program that we use for Rimfire matches at various distances. After a recent IOS update Spot On will only work once after the download. It then crashes, freezes up until you delete it, reload it, and then it again it is OK for a single use.
  • Crashes - Useless

This app was great when it worked, but now just crashes and is useless. It’s just wonderful to be in the stand and have a buck grazing when you want to check the app and it crashes! Wasted money on 3 expensive Nikon scopes! I can never trust Nikon again and will not purchase any Nikon product. Just can’t depend on Nikon to do what’s right for consumers. Worse yet they still advertise this e-junk!
