  • Lost all saved loads!!!

I’ve been using this app for years and have bought 10 BDC reticle scopes to use with the app and have saved a dozen or so loads on the app. Now when I open the app the saved loads are gone and the option to save a load is also gone. All of my info has been lost and I can’t type the words here to express my anger properly. I really hope there is an update soon to remedy this or I may go from a loyal customer of Nikon to another company. It makes me think that any future updates could also make customers lose their data so it will again be a waste of time.

  • Not too bad.

This app is generally OK. Had been working fine, but since the last upgrade it no longer can get weather stats over the internet. Just sits and spins. That’s annoying.
  • App not working properly

The app is not working correctly. After I click “fire” it freezes and I can’t click on anything else. I have an IPhone 6plus and I’ve also tried it on an IPhone 6. If it would work, it’s a great app to have.
  • Need new update for app crahes

Just got my new Pro Staff rimfire rifle scope today and one of the selling points for me was the Nikon spot on app they offer. So, I downloaded the app from Apple’s App Store onto my iPhone 6. After the download was completed I opened the app and it worked good, added all the info to app like it said and hit fire. That’s when it crashed. So, I tried again to get it to work and it crashed again, again and again. I did a little review research and found out that this app have been crashing for over a year now with iPhones ( don’t know about other brands). I think that this app has the potential of being a good to excellent app, but until Nikon’s application development team fix this problem the app will remain one star for me. Hopefully, Nikon read these reviews that everybody put out and live up to the Nikon name.

  • Completely useless app

As soon as you try to use this app, it closes. Useless waste of time. Buy a Hawke scope and use their app, it works. Can’t believe Nikon wouldn’t fix their app. So disappointed that I’m not buying their scope in protest.
  • Freezes

App Doesn’t work in my iPhone 6s or my iPad
    Freezes when I push fire.
  • Previous versions functioned well

I’ve been using this app for several years on a iPhone 6s in conjunction with Nikon’s rimfire 4-12x40 bdc scope. It was a great app and all functions worked well until the most recent update. Now all it does is crash, crash, crash. I can get it to work for a short period of time if i delete and reinstall. Even when it does work and i input the load info and scope and hit “fire,” the magnification slider for the selected 12 power scope shows a max of 9x.

A potentially great app riddled with crappy updates. Almost every update has caused at least several large groups of users to lose functionality. This app was a big reason i was looking into buying more Nikon scopes. Now maybe I’ll go with Burris.

  • Could be better but not too shabby

This would be a lot better if the user were able to enter barrel length of the rifle being used. Plenty of commonly used ammo/bullets can be selected although missing a few that I’ve noticed, nbd though. Overall decent app but a few more features would make it more valuable
  • Black FX1000

When we get update on FX Models ?
  • Poor support

Nice app except for the ability to set atmospheric conditions. Nikon promotes the use of a weather meter thru another company called geo ballistics. I bought the meter then found out it wouldn’t work on this app. When I called Nikon they didn’t even know that they were promoting such a product.
It wasn’t a total loss. The geoballistic app is called BallisticsARC and it looks pretty good. Their customer support is great. Nikon’s was terrible.
