Endless Loop

For the last 8 days I’ve attempted to open the RAMS App and it will only allow “update” so I select update and it takes me to the App Store.
I select the app, which hasn’t been updated, and I start the whole process again of only allowing “update” and you can guess the rest.
I attempted report it to RAMS but received an email saying that it fell outside the parameters of their support so they couldn’t help.

Keeps telling me to update.

Has worked fine till recently. Whenever I go to log in it now tells me “This version is no longer supported. You need to update to the latest version” I click on update and it takes me to the App Store where it tells me I already have the latest version.

Update working

Can’t update directly but had to delete the app and downloaded again now works fine.

Bad experience

Signed me out after a couple months then when I tried to log back in it said I had wrong password and locked me out (my password was not wrong by the way). I then had to reset password on website then tried to log back into the app and it says wrong password all over again!

App crashes when selecting pay later option

I can’t schedule payments as the app crashes as soon you select pay later and try to open the date selection field. It’s been well over 2 weeks and still not resolved. Poor customer service RAMS. Expected better issue resolution time than this.

Very unreliable - should be able to do much better!!!

I’d love to be able to say good things about this app, but there’s so much wrong with it, I just can’t.

When I make an EFT payment to a payee, it gives me the option to add a reference for me (eg Pest Control), and a payment for the payee (eg invoice 123). The references are never applied correctly - they are transposed, the payee either gets the one intended for my account, or nothing at all. I never know what is going to show up on both mine and the payees account. This is just ridiculous.

When scrolling through the transactions, if I ‘load more transactions’, this freezes the entire app and I have to close it and start again. And I can never look at any previous transactions to what is showing on the screen, as it happens every time.

If I want to amend a regular bpay or eft payment, I cannot amend it. I have to delete it and start again.

Sometimes the running balances don’t add up. Displaying the wrong amount, and transactions which are not mine appear and doesn’t matter I report them, they don’t disappear. Eventually the actual balance corrects itself, but this is so unreliable.

They’re making enough money in interest payments from us - even in these lean times - and they should be putting some of this into developing the app. Seriously they should fire whoever created it and get someone who knows what they’re doing.

As soon as I am able to refinance when my fixed rate is over, I’ll be outta here.

Can’t access accounts

For the last 2 days have tried to access my account and keeps saying it needs update to open. You go to update and it says open, no new update. How can you keep access to peoples accounts off line like this?!? Then you drop our interest rate and not our mortgage rate. Looking at other banks is the answer. Not a happy customer

Suddenly says an update is needed but none available

Worked to a degree up until recently. Now the app has an option to cancel an update or head to the App Store for an update. You can either cancel and go back to the login screen or head to the store where there is no update available. The issue makes the app unusable.

Even prior to this, the ‘more transactions’ button would crash the app every time. The same occurs on my wife’s phone too.

Worst app I’ve ever used!

Constantly crashes, doesn’t provide full information - seems to stall if you need anything beyond a screen’s worth of information. Every time I log in I’m told to retry as ‘something went wrong’. Have messaged RAMS a number of times in frustration and they come back saying please call us to notify - sorry no, I’m not sitting on your phone queue for hours to tell you what I’ve already told you!

Quite good but a bit buggy

Overall I have enjoyed using this app - easy to view balances for multiple accounts and the ability to transfer funds between banks. However, I’ve noticed with recent updates that the app has become extra buggy. Main issue for me is that it no longer responds when I try to view extra history and then I have to close the app; this leads to not being able to access older history at all through the app.
