Solid functional app - amended review after a couple of weeks use.
Good, reliable basic control of a relatively simple IP camera on local network and over Internet. For the record it's working with Wanscam wireless camera version AJ-C2WA-C198 (at least that's what it says on the box). Once the camera was set up on my network using the manufacturer's software (on a PC) connection to the App was very simple. Not all possible controls are available in the App but movement, presets, contrast and brightness work fine and the IO switch, although labelled 'Alarm Switch', actually controls the IR light on/off on my Wanscam. The digital zoom is rather natty.

Simply the best.. N free for most features.
I paid for 2 other apps to keep an eye on racoon attacking my koi pond and surprisingly, this free app load the camera fastest and has lots of free functions including zooming in; controlling camera lens n etc. I can't wait the release of versions 2 and I hope it has push notification for motion sensor to let me know the racoon is paying my koi pond an uninvited "visit". In case the developer is reading this and could find a solution for motion sensor which does not pick up "wind motion" and wake me up for false alarm, it would have make my dream app comes true!!! The other app with motion sensor notification often pick up wind signal even when tune in to "least sensitive". Thanks for this simply the best n mostly free app!!Show lessLula D
Great app and it's free!!!
Has one of the best interfaces and works decently.
Have 2 issues to make it 5 stars.
1. Make it multi view so you can see 4 cams simultaneously.
2. Audio quality is poor compared to the D Link cams where you hear everything in crystal clear sound.Kolb2

Little bummed that I had to spend an extra $3 for audio though. Speaking of audio, that stops working in less than a minute. Not sure if its my camera or the app because the video works very well with the app. I can't get audio to work with any web browser and the company said they don't currently support audio with my model. I bought an IP wireless camera off Kogan recently and had a lot of difficulty accessing it remotely with this app which they recommended. Kogan were no help as they never responded to my email. The developer of this app, on the other had, was wonderful. I exchanged a number of emails with him. He replied fairly promptly with a number of suggestions and comments. I have set this up with a cheap Aldi camera ... After a few hassles accessing from outside home network it has worked brilliantly. Great for piece of mind while away on holidays ... Also they do get back to answer any questions ...5 starsbomberdavec
Good app for a starter
This is the first app I downloaded for my camera and it is great for being a free app. It worked when I was home and also worked fine when I was using 3G outside of my house. I ultimately ended up downloading a new app because this app didn't have one thing that I was looking for and that is the option to turn off the light in the camera (to have night vision or not). Without me wanting that feature, this app is great and does what it says.Show lessShawna_926
Not happy with latest update!
Since I've updated, I cannot use 3G to look at any of my 3 ip cams.... I need these to monitor when I'm out n about!
It only works with wifi at home, which is pointless!
Although the app has a feature to report problems, I have written more than twice and still no answer.... Then what's the point.
Anyone else have this problem or know how to resolve it?Show lessYocau
