Disappointing latest update

The latest update has glitches- meditations stop in the middle and the personal statistics are difficult to navigate. You can no longer see a month calendar at a glance, or number of hours meditated per week, month or year. After many years of happily using this app I have noticed a steady decline in its usability, especially for long term users who may not have signed up to paid subscription when it was introduced a few years ago. Several requests for previously paid meditations to be reinstated have been ignored. Sad, but it might be time to look for a new mediation App.

Dommage pour la voix

Dommage que la voix soit moins basse et enveloppante. Je la trouve malheureusement trop aiguë pour être capable de relaxer.

Hi there, we have many different mindfulness teachers you can meditate with on the app, perhaps search for a male voice such as Reuben Lowe or Martin Wikfalk. We hope this helps 💙 Have a wonderful day, your Mindfulness team

Weekly totals gone!

What happened to the weekly/monthly/yearly totals in the profile? Bring them back please!

Response from developer

Hi there, it's still in the app under the Profile tab in a section called Streak Calendar 🤩 You can view your streak both in a weekly and monthly calendar and your longest streak to date. We hope this helped 💙 Have a lovely day, The Mindfulness Team

Great - minus one new feature

I’ve used this app for years and haven’t bothered looking into other apps because this one is so good. The quality of meditations and teachers is top notch. There’s so much variety from many influential and important instructors.

Only complaint is that with the new change, they took away the icon that indicated which sessions from courses were guided meditations vs lecture. So now it’s impossible to tell beforehand if you’ll be meditating or just listening, and hard to go back and find meditations embedded in the courses. Change it back please!

Disabled my phone.

I’ve used this app for years. On the old deal where you could use limited features for free and subscribe only if you desire the courses. I prefer the course material on Insight timer app and heartily recommend it over this one, but did prefer the simplicity of the basic meditation timer this app used to offer. After setting the timer yesterday my phone crashed and got stuck in a boot loop. It took me hours to restore the phone and much data lost. A total mindfulness crushing experience. Now this app won’t let me use any free features and insists on £79/ yr subscription. I have deleted the app and will continue on Insight Timer for all my meditation needs in future.

It’s great

It’s my favourite app and I keep coming back to it over the years, there’s some great lessons and many good meditations and courses. However like so many guided meditations most of the teachers appear to love the sound of their own voice and talk far too much. Tip for teachers - just let us meditate. A little bit of guidance goes a long way, too much is just intrusive and distracting. Also the makers of this app seem confused about what a “ silent meditation “ is, apparently they think this means talking incessantly the whole time.

Life Saving

This App is the perfect companion to my recovery with my new sobriety date as meditation is a core component of remaining sober forever. Relapse can never be a part of my recovery. Though I’ve always thought that, I left that window of escape open and by accepting the notion “relapse is a part of recovery” and stepping out that window for just a couple of days after 2 and a half years of sobriety, I hurt those I love the most deeply with angry verbal assaults and had a wreck in my pickup that could have easily killed myself or others. In my world now and through using this app daily along with other supports I can live a peaceful, productive and happy life again. Relapse destroys recovery so I do not consider it a part of it.

Love it!

For the past month, I have been using the mindfulness app and I love it! I did not buy into the premium and there is more than enough choice for me. Great way to bring in the new year!

Satisfaite mais…

J’aimerais avoir plus de pleine conscience en français svp
