Very good app but...

I am using this app for a long time for private photos I saved. I am also yearly subscribed. - Even though I arranged the order of the photos in an album as I wanted, when I close the application and reopen it, the order is broken again. This only happens in some photos. - We should be able to create sub-albums inside an album. - We should be able to see the size of the albums (like how many megabyte) - We should be able to see the actual name of the photos.

App no longer functioning on iPhone 11 Pro iOS 13.5 – constant crashing upon opening

In the last update or the second to last update I am no longer able to open my application. I am on an iPhone 11 Pro running iOS 13.5. I’ve been a long time user and premium subscriber of your application, and I’ve never had issues with compatibility in the past. In most cases when apps are updated and require a newer version of iOS, the software developer will disable updates for devices that don’t need the specified iOS version. I was not given a warning, and I was dumbfounded went out of nowhere my app is unable to open.

I’m not sure why this is happening, but if I am no longer able to use this application, I’m going to have to cancel my premium subscription. I’m sure there are other users of your application on lower iOS devices that are also running into this issue. My biggest problem is that I am unable to access my pictures now because I’m unable to open the application.

If you could provide me instructions on how to retrieve my photos and videos that are currently locked inside of the application, I would really appreciate it. I’m hoping that this issue is resolved, but in the meantime I would hope you are able to help me retrieve my images and videos.

I’ve used the free version for awhile then recently I trialed the pro version. Tried to rollback to free version but now being held for ransom. It won’t though they said it does, rollback. I get message pay up or wait till hell freezes over before free version is reinstated

If i could give this a 0 star review i would. I accidentaly deleted a album full of photos and i've been trying to get them back ever since. Once they get deleted they go to a option for recently deleted which you have to pay a £12 subscription to get back so my pictures got deleted eventually. I think i saved them onto cloud but that aswell needs a subscription & im not 100% sure its there. No point wasting money for a subscription if it wont 100% even be there. Been emailing them back & forth for one month now & they're communication is horrible. They respond after a week & they dont even help out with the situation. Had to repeat myself over ten times. Wouldnt bother downloading this app when your on own iphone doesnt even charge u to get onto recently deleted. Money grabbers at the best! & way too many ads!!!

App stopped working when I paid for premium

I have been using this app for a while even before they had a premium service. I just upgraded to the premium for cloud access and within a week the app stopped updating and said my app is out of date and cannot continue until I update to the latest version.
I go to the App Store and lo and behold…I am on the latest version.
I contacted the support team and was told to downgrade to previous app version.
If anyone can tell me how to do that on an iphone I welcome an answer but until then my money has been wasted as I am paying for cloud based service and I have to access to the cloud based functionality.
If this is resolved I may change the review but for now I am wholly unimpressed with the software bug and long response times of the developer.

Great app, but I’m having trouble with the new version

I’ve been using the “pro” (annual fee) version of Photo Vault for a few years, and I think it’s a great app, but it recently stopped synching, and I see a small-font notice on the settings page that says that my version needs to be updated. When I go to the App Store, there’s apparently no version-update option available, only a brand new app with a new icon. There is no information about how my account will be handled if I activate the new app, i.e. will I be charged two annual fees?, will my synched photos be available to populate the new app (with the same folders)?, do I need to deactivate synching in the original app in order to activate synching in the newer app? am I at risk of losing photos on either the cloud server or my device (an iPad, primarily)?, etc.

Revision: What I was experiencing (detailed above) was a temporary glitch…things are working fine now. Excellent customer service! Thanks for a great app.

Great App, Have A Suggestion Though

Hey, I think this a great app, effective and easy to use. Just a quick suggestion though, I feel it could really benefit from an updated icon picture. The current one just feels a little outdated and unaesthetic. It doesn’t really give the same ‘simple and professional’ vibe that the actual photo album app does. It kind of looks like some random mobile app game that you downloaded in 2013, played once, and forgot it existed on your phone lmaoo. Obviously this isn’t super important and doesn’t relate to the function, but people also judge apps based on the cover when downloading so if you want the app to look as good as it functions, I recommend an update there. :)

Taking away features I paid for?

Edit: the canned response says that if I already purchased the pro version everything will work. There was no pro version 4 years ago when I purchased this. And the pro version is a subscription for $40 a year! Give me back the features I paid for!

I purchased this app several years ago and chose it over others because of a few features it had. Key word here is PURCHASED…. One of those features was the ability to browse to my iPad from a desktop computer to upload or download images. I always considered this feature to be core to the app and I chose Photo Vault because of it. Well, I just tried to do that and…guess what? Apparently, in a recent “update”, They took that feature away from the app! The only way to get that feature now is to pay a subscription fee of…what?? $40 a year?? Your update even says very clearly that I STILL HAVE ACCESS TO MY ALL LIFETIME VERSION FEATURES! LIES! Hey, look. I paid for that feature as part of my original license. Taking away the ability to transfer images CRIPPLES this app and makes it completely useless. I’m sure someplace in the fine print it says you can take features away but TAKING FEATURES AWAY AND THEN CHARGING PEOPLE TO ACCESS THEM AGAIN IS COMPLETELY UNETHICAL! I really hate the subscription revenue model and think the only reason it exists is greed. Give us back the features we bought the app for!

If you have already purchased the Pro version of the app, you will always be able to continue using the features you paid for, for free. However, if you want to try any of the new features including Cloud Vault backup and syncing, you will need to try our new upgrade.2 more considerations: 1. Please also ensure that you are using the same Apple account that you made the purchase with.2. It is possible you purchased the separate app which you can find in the App Store under the name SVRegarding transferring files from your computer, you can still do that in the free version under Settings --> Transfer --> USB transfer.Let me know if you have any other questions
