  • Best metronome out there

I love this metronome. It was a wonderful resource when I was studying music in college. It has great sound options which is nice when you spend multiple hours per day practicing with a metronome. The ability to customize subdivisions and have random muting are very helpful for developing your time feel. If you play around you can get it play a clave or other rhythmic patterns (such as odd-meter “claves”) aside from a just a steady beat.

  • Love the random mute!

I love the random mute and would love to rate 5 stars. The one issue I have is that I can’t seem to delete beats once i’ve added them up top. Could be me just not seeing it but i’ve tried just about everything. I’ve resorted to uninstalling and reinstalling when I want to delete beats.

    Developer Response

Oh sorry for the trouble. But simply swipe down to delete beats. You can also save a blank preset for starting over if you like.
  • Not working anymore?

Skipping beats? Glitching overall not working well. Can’t make second row disappear?

Hi developer who wrote me. Since I can’t respond to you via the method you contacted me at, I can’t answer your questions...

The player who introduced me to the app here in LA is having the same problem. The app glitches, it will suddenly skip a beat or place two beats next to each other. Running iPhone 11 with 13.3.1

(Swipe down is a good upgrade, thanks for the heads up)

  • Most practical metronome app

Easily one of the most practical, useful metronome apps available!
  • Excellent Tool for practicing

Get your tempo and rhythm super tight BEFORE you go to rehearsal.
You will soon find the other musicians playing to YOUR groove.

  • Very good but missing some functionality

This app just falls short of being the perfect metronome app for a few reasons that I hope could be addressed in the future.
    1) 14 seems an arbitrary maximum number of bars/beats, and I’m having to use workarounds to practice complex forms.
    2) There’s no option of a different sound to mark beat one

  • Buggy

I have been messing around with this app. I have an iPhone XS Max with latest update.

As I use this even for simple metronome, it occasionally misses beats. I know there is a random muting but I have this turned off.

Another oddity. If I try to use triplets the metronome clicks the “one” then sounds the triplet as if there are four beats in the rhythm. Where’d I set it to 1 over 1 or 1 over 4 it does this.

If someone can say I am doing something wrong would be happy to upgrade the review.

  • Started out great

This is a wonderful idea but it has a bug. I can no longer get rid of a set of four notes once I create it. I’ve tried resetting the app as well as redownloading. Please fix this because it will make this the best metronome out there.

    Developer Response

Hi. Please try swiping down to delete meters. You can also save a “blank” preset if you want to start from a clean template.
  • Great metronome

Love the random mute feature, also good interface.
  • instructions please

there does not appear to be a simple explanation anywhere on line on how to use this thing. So its useless and very FRUSTRATING. I was trying to combine repetitive triplet/sixteenth notes and for the life of me... uggghhhh!!!!

Still struggling with this — I never use it as its hard to clear
