Does not function

Keeps crashing. Have had no help from the developer to solve issue. Give it one star simply because I can't submit this without a rating. If I can get it working I may revise that!

Awesome

I bought this app yesterday and spent the day today teaching ACLS. This app does exactly what it promises. The students learned how to adjust the pacemaker on our simulated pt and were able to see CPR in progress on the monitor. I was able to simulate multiple scenarios and generate rhythms on the fly. (you have to STATE the BP and whether or not there is a pulse,, that is what I like about it, I can modify and ad lib as I go.). This is the best 3 bucks I have spent this year. Thanks for making my job as faculty a whole lot easier.

Crashes

This is a great concept app, and I know many who use it. However, the app crashes quite a bit and it gets annoying after the third or fourth time. The development person/team needs to have a hack-a-thon to rid these glitches…

Wow

This is a good way of seeing in real life time action how a ECG works and operates I would recommend it

Shows real potential

I tried to find a way to contact the developer to avoid leaving this in feedback but the website is still under construction.
Incredible start to an app with some serious shortcomings
Positive
- very affordable
- sweet aesthetics
- clear audio
- simple interface

Negative
- If you click start task without a defined task the app crashes
- Temperature task actually says CO2 on the top banner
- reset tasks doesn't actually reset the tasks to default it just resets the scenario.
- You have to clear each task individually under each of the parameters before you can create a new scenario.

Future Suggestions
- allow a progression of symptom changes associated with interventions made instead of limiting it to a set amount of time
- allow for pairing of an iPhone to act as the remote control. This would be great for signs and symptoms progression for students to receive feedback after an intervention is performed.

Keep up the great work.

Absolute Crap... Don

'Teach Cardiac and patient monitoring for a living. I thought this little widget might be a nice addition to the classroom.
Most of the buttons that one would think to be interactive are not interactive; it seems many of the buttons do nothing at all. QRS tone is not in sync with the QRS; EtCO2 waveform does not move and does not change and looks nothing like a real waveform unless your patient is on a vent...

I just can't think of a single good use for this app. Out of principle, I asked for a refund and never heard from the developer.

ECG/Defibrillator Simulator

I really love this app! I was looking for something like this for months. I use this program to teach ACLS and PALS more then our company's real defibrillator. I really like how I can show students the pacer function. The pacer works great and you will see capture when mA are increased! Amazing. It also has a sync. Cardioversion Function as well. I wasn't sure of the purpose for a CPR button. It made more sense when I used it for the pulseless arrest algorithms. The CPR button is great because the student isn't waisting time looking at the monitor. They can then focus on medications and watching the CO2 function. CO2 can be changed to show the students ROSC or poor compressions. I can go on and on about this thing. Oh. It also does blood pressures! If you want to use this feature, I found that you have to go to task settings and input values in all categories. Takes a bit to get used to. I couldn't find directions(maybe didn't look hard enough) so maybe this review will help the next guy. Can't wait for the 12 lead feature!

Almost there...

This app is almost there, I can't wait for the next update to add the customizable waveforms, great app so far

Can't open app after update!

I cannot open the app after updating the app! $10 for this?!?!

Terrible

About as helpful as playing pong in learning steps needed to save a patient. What about meds? Would be good if app designed scenarios for u. Not worth any amount of money. If your really want to learn and practice this is totally useless.
