Best book app ever!
I don’t usually write reviews, but I think this app deserves one. I’ve used a lot of book apps before, and this one is by far the best structured one. I love it! It has some of my favorite authors, and great books! The only problem is, it keeps stopping the audio book while I’m listening. The latest update fixed some of the issue, because the app doesn’t complete crash anymore, and it’s less frequent that it stops, but it still does. Sometimes I can just go back onto the app, and press play again, but other times, I completely closes the book. The play controls on the Lock Screen are really unstable as well. If these issues could be fixed, I would call this book app the best one in history! It definitely would earn five stars (I wish I could put ten!) Thank you for developing a great app, I look forward to the next update!

Great content, but too glitchy to use! :(
Update: I can’t even open the ebooks now and read them because it only shows blank pages. For two days it’s been like this. This app costs too much to be this dysfunctional. I want to have this service, I’m willing to pay for the service, but the service is so poorly put together that I think I’ll be needing to contact for a refund. It’s very, very glitchy.

There ought to be a way to message developers about tech issues, especially as this is a paid service subscription that costs enough that it should be functional. My app crashes or pauses for no reason dozens of times a day and several times in just a half hour chapter. When I open the app again to start content, most times it has lost my place and starts somewhere else in the chapter (often at the beginning again). This is even with the book downloaded, and not a problem with my internet or streaming. If the app worked, it would easily be worth the money and five stars. As it is, I’m feeling so frustrated after just 2 days with it that I don’t think I’d renew my subscription.

Excellent app when it worked
I love this app for reading and listening but it stopped working and can’t open books anymore. There seems to be a glitch and I hope it’s fixed soon as the membership is expensive so you’re paying for a service that you’re not getting.
Use to be my go to app
This use to be my favorite audiobook app ever because I always knew the content was clean, but lately it’s been having issues. It crashes constantly and so I have restart my book constantly. It also will randomly go back to the start of a chapter or a previous chapter when I restart it so I have to search for where I was. Also, whenever I’m looking for a new book to listen to, I usually read all the reviews first and now every book I look at says “Leave Review” and won’t show any other reviews even though I know they were there before. Also, the todays’s quote widget has stopped showing up, but even when it was coming up, the link to go to the quote in the app wouldn’t work and I’d have to go search some of the quotes to read the full thing. Super frustrating! Can we please get another update soon to fix all the issues??

Keeps pausing
I don’t know why but my audiobook keeps pausing at random times when I’m listening. It even signs me out sometimes which is very annoying. Is it just happening to me?

Great for my faith study, Split View on iPad would be perfect
Love the app and being able to carry great uplifting faith resources with me on the go. What would make this app perfect, in my opinion, if it could have split view or side view enabled for apple iPad devices. It used to allow it but now it doesn’t. I love having the gospel library open in conjunction with this app when I am studying.

Tech is horrible
I would love to give this app 5 stars, but the tech is too frustrating. Searching is so difficult. Why can’t I see all of the author’s books in a list? Instead I have to search by title. I don’t know all the titles by an author. But the so freezes ALL the time. I used to have to delete and reinstall a few times a year. Then about once a month. For the past year I’ve had to reinstall it about 2-3x a month. Now it’s getting to be about every 2-3 days!!! I don’t think my phone is the problem. It’s a new 14 I’m going to start leaving a1 star review entering I have to reinstall it. Hopefully it will get someone’s attention. If you look at the other 1 star reviews, they have the same problems. Update: Now that I’ve deleted the all and reinstalled it, it won’t let me download a book!!! So frustrating. I can’t even find a number for support. Update: the tech support page said there’s an error. They don’t even exist. No wonder the app functionality is so bad!!!!

Great content; Poor functionality
The app suffers from at least two fundamental and inexplicable defects. First, it has you download individual chapters piecemeal instead of the entire book at one time. This causes various problems, including occasionally (and sometimes unwittingly) skipping over an entire chapter that either hasn’t downloaded yet or did not download successfully. Second, when one triple taps headphones to rewind a bit, instead of just rewinding 30 seconds or something, it rewinds all the way to the beginning of the chapter. I can think of lots of situations where a listener would want to rewind just a little (wanting to listen to an important point again, wanting to back up a little after letting one’s mind drift for a minute, etc.), but I can’t imagine anyone wanting to back up all the way and start a chapter over again, at least not frequently. The reason I refer to these flaws as inexplicable is that they could easily be corrected. Other, far more popular listening apps like Audible don’t have these same flaws. Why not just copy success?
By the way, I’m not inclined to post negative comments publicly. I only do so here as I could not find a way to submit feedback to the developers offline despite searching for a way to do so.

Become disappointed
I used to really love this app. I listen to books and podcasts as I would drive back-and-forth to work. I also love to study with the Sunday on Monday podcast. Unfortunately the past six months the app has become more of a problem than a benefit. When it is working it goes for about 1 1/2 weeks, and then it glitches again. I have to remove the app and reinstall it (sometimes more than once) because it won't open, or it kicks me out while I'm listening and then I have to remove and reinstall. This makes it impossible to enjoy while driving. I have sent this problem in twice and I've done everything they have told me to do, but the issues are still happening. I am using the latest update, the one they are telling everyone to use because these problems have been fixed in this update. No, the problems are not fixed. At this point I will not be renewing my subscription because this has become such a hassle.
