Big scam! Do not subscribe to the premium version.

We were travelling in Ireland and the UK and this app was of no help. The premium subscription doesn’t deliver on its promises, there were no site to see so we basically paid for nothing. I understand that locations need to be submitted by users to allow others to see potential camp and shower sites but don’t make me pay for a subscription when there is nothing more I’ll get, that’s scamming people. The free iOverlander app is way better than this one.

Hello, If you don't see a place on the map with the park4night application: https://park4night.com/en/aide_faq/14/ Often too many "activities" and "services" filters are checked. The application will search for places that match ALL the "activities" and "services" criteria checked. So the application will not find anything and won't display any locations. Please click on [Reset] in the filter (top right of the map). All places will be displayed. Thank you. Best regards,

Gives you a chance to find really unique places

So much good content, all because of a great community. Responsive developers too.
Already found three awesome campgrounds and farm stays. All three are hits.

Fabulous app; please add this security feature!

Very useful and easy to use app for finding campsites and parking areas when traveling. A feature that would be useful to add to the filters is “has security” for parking areas (especially overnight). This is one of the most important things we look for, particularly when visiting larger cities with the van. Thanks :)

Great community and content, poor app

I’ve paid the yearly subscription, can use the site just fine. The app keeps prompting to follow an activation link in a validation email, which never comes. No, it’s not in the spam folder, it just never comes. So silly… why even ask for it if I’ve already bought a yearly subscription?!

Convenient tool

Very helpful for finding RV parking in Europe. Otherwise it can be very hard to find places to park when things are small and crowded.

Invaluable, if a little buggy

I’ve been travelling for around 7 months and used park4night almost every day for that entire time. I’ve used it to find everything - laundrettes, refill spots, and overnight stops. I’ve loved it. It’s genuinely invaluable. I love the fact you can edit marked spots if they’re out of date, and add photos etc to help others.

My only quibbles are:
1) The interface is just a bit outdated. It’s simple, but not elegant.
2) Crashes. To be fair I’ve used it every day, and only a few times had the app been completely unavailable. This has happened a few times this summer when the whole app is frozen and unusable. When this happened, I realised how much I relied on it!

All in all - USE THIS APP. It is an essential companion.

Seems to have data outages lately

A few times there have been data outages which means no sites show on the map. Despite having data on my phone unable to download the offline data either.

Lots of issues

Lots of issues and glitches with this app functioning. I also had purchased the monthly pass for a plus account but the app was having a lot of issues with not working (screen freezing, not displaying features/locations, etc) and got to the point where it was not functioning at all (nothing was showing up on the screen) so I deleted the app in hopes that restarting it would help, but that made problems worse. The problem remained AND my username was no longer associated with the purchased account.

Great collaborative app. One improvement would be to enable sending longitude/latitude coordinates to Google maps

Good Interface, not North America Friendly

The interface has great potential, but there are some big deficiencies. First off, the way geographical locations are listed for the USA and Canada are not user friendly. USA locations list just the town/city name and zip code, the state is not given. This can be confusing when there are multiple towns and cities with the same name. Locations in Canada are similar, most are listed with just the town/city name and postal code without the province.

Secondly, the process of adding a new camping site is cumbersome, with too many questions that don’t apply to a lot of locations. Also, the categories for campgrounds are a bit confusing.
