Disappointed customer support and horrible delivery services

Zomato delivering thousands of orders daily and even charging for delivery charges for every order. Still the below is observed for even paying for services:-
1:- Customer Support do not co-operate in any manner. for eg:- Wrong/partial order was delivered, User have to bear the loss as customer support do not able to follow with Restaurent or delivery partner.
2:- Despite Taking hefty charges from every individual separately, They always club orders in delivery for multiple people resulting in Late delivery for even order placed from restaurant which is hardly 500 mtr away from ur residence.
3:- If we ask delivery partner to allow a minute to verify delivered order, they consider it Abusive behavior as we asked to wait for few minutes and reduce your customer rating stating Customer behavior was inappropriate.

Useless customer support service

If u order any food from this website even after paying also in front of delivery partner after taking screenshot of the payment they will tell u dint paid and u will receive a call from customer executive agent that agent will not tell u the issue or without checking the payment has not done or wat she will talk much like a ediot she will end the call and mark to return a order and poor executive will be waiting near the house …… u will be receiving back to back callllsss even if u made the payment…….. they will ask u to return the food and wait for payment refund for 24 hrs is this fair????? Later they will crosss check and tell payment has done …. Do we customers look like poppets for uu ppl I would have given 0 ratting if I would a option to give …. 1st teach some manners to ur customer support executive especially the lady to spoke to me in 1st calll….. seriously this is the worst experience and I would never recommend for any one hopeless customer service….

Pathetic support

Zomato has literally zero support service in case you have the misfortune to seek it. The restaurant I had placed order with Zomato decided to deliver me “fries” instead of “nachos”(!!!) because they did not have nachos. Apparently for them it’s the same dish and could be exchanged without consulting me. Needless to say that substitute fries were cheaper than nachos. While that itself was unprofessional, what made me mad was this unilateral decision of the restaurant which spoilt our dinner. I thought I was mad at the restaurant but quickly, I forewent the anger on the restaurant when I realised that Zomato had no mechanism to address it. When I used their support option, they never offered any option to let me talk to any executive. And then soon I realised that it was all a part of their design. There were few obvious options to choose from, none of which were acceptable to me considering the fact that the mess by the restaurant spoilt the dinner, and a refund for nachos would not do it. They just let you suffer your misery without assisting you a penny’s worth.

Beware for missing items- they refuse to refund

Beware of ordering from Zomato and dealing with order issues. The chat/email service is quite poor, and they have 0 ability to provide credit/refunds when your order is incorrect. In my case, I was missing 1 item from my order but was told they were unable to refund me because *they* were unable to contact the restaurant. The place in question is McDonald’s. If they aren’t able to have proper protocols in place for order issues with large multinational corporations like McD’s, good luck dealing with any issues from other restaurants. Of course the item was low value, and I'm not actually upset over the monetary value I lost out on. I’m simply upset at the principal of the situation- zomato does not have proper protocols for customer protection in event of order issues. I will be contacting my credit card company at this point, as I’ve been left no other options with customer service.

Worst packaging

Totally frustrated with the delivery

Sketchy-Beware!

I was directed to this app from a google result for a local (Canada) restaurant. A page opened up with the restaurant’s location and menu, and said that orders can only be made through the app. However, the first image on the app download page says “india’s number one food delivery app”, which was incredibly suspicious. Upon further investigation, the restaurant’s Facebook page has a post stating that they do not take orders anywhere online. Use this app at your own risk.

Wrong location recorded despite of putting full address.

Delivery damaged

Not a good service .
Package was damaged .
Delivery person despite permitting did not deliver to Flat.
Probably young Male would be better equipped to carry weight and manage delivery.
Lady full of excuses and talks !

Erratic delivery times..USELESS APP

Decent app and user friendly interface but that’s where the quality ends. Delivery times are unreliable (can’t track like uber eats) and frequently payment is charged before the restaurant can confirm that the order can be fulfilled and you’re stuck with a charged credit card looking for options to replace what you ordered. Same responses from Zomato customer service when you complain, “we will follow up and give the restaurant a stern warning “ etc etc. Nothing improves. For quick and reliable delivery times Uber eats is the way to go. UPDATE: I have long since deleted the app and no longer use it it’s a joke and I’m giving it one star because zero is not an option. After writing my first review 8 months ago I’d hoped things might improve but same story. Delivery is late or order is accepted and card is charged without the restaurant knowing if they can fulfill the order, you complain and they apologize and give you zomato credits, pointless. I use this app in the UAE and there are better options here.. don’t bother
