App issues
The app should have a date format and if times you out, often leading to enter all info again.Customer Service is a life saver, And I never write reviews
So myself and a group of friends are going to Japan in a couple of weeks and I had some reservations I made about 6 months ago, at first it wouldn’t allow me to make reservations for all of us so I reached out to customer support and surprisingly pretty sure it was a actual person! And they help me sort it out not a day later or a delayed response, I sort it out right then in their and I was really glad cause it planning is stressful! Then recently another person just bought her ticket and I had to help them also with reservation but when I check it was supposedly completely book! I was very disheartened but I verified on other sites and noticed that on other sites you can still booked, me wanting to keep everyone on the same reservation reach out to customer support and they submitted a ticket for me( I didn’t even know you can submit a amendment ticket till the person at Viator ask me if I wanted to) long story short I got to add her on our reservations and ugh I’m so glad 😭😭, the quick response and them actually being helpful is amazing which is why I’m actually leaving a review so whoever is in charge of customer service here give them a raise!Show lessDon’t use this app
Please don’t use this app. Just use the actual website of the place you want to visit. We booked a zip line adventure at Climbworks through Viator and when we got there we had found out it was canceled. Viator did send me an email that it was canceled but i never received a text message or any other notification in the app letting me know of this. And honestly, who checks their emails all day? They canceled it without any reason and i didn’t get my money back until a few days later. Now imagine if you only had enough money for that event and they took it and then canceled it for no reason and no other warning. Just don’t do it. The event was canceled and i still get emails and messages letting me know it was canceled or declined. Thankfully, Climbworks worked with us and we were able to still do the zip line at the time we chose. The staff was great. I recommend doing the zip line. But don’t book anything through Viator, save yourself the trouble.Show less
