The app has to be the lamest excuse for an airline app in existence (and I’ve used many). It never notified me of continuing delays on a flight. (TAP sent emails…seriously??). The delay in the first leg of the journey caused me to just miss my connecting flight (I waved to the pilot in the cockpit), and TAP assigned me to another flight many hours later. Never, over the course of almost eight additional hours, did the app give me an updated boarding pass, neither one that I could add to Apple Wallet, nor one that could be viewed or accessed within the app. And never, upon flight reassignment, did my new seat assignment appear in the app, nor in my account in a web browser, either. (Spent 1.5 hours in line just to find my seat.) As gates were assigned, and then changed, for both legs of the journey, those assignments and changes never appeared in the app, nor were boarding passes updated. I don’t understand how this could be considered a working app. Does virtually nothing it should do.
