  • Almost As Good As A Fitness Instructor

I am in LOVE with this app. In addition to learning more about how the human body works, it shows you exercises to do to work a variety of different muscles. (Shows stretches too.) My boyfriend is a massage therapist and he reviewed the app and told me that the information in it was correct. He said that he wished he had known about this app when he was going through school because it would have made learning a lot easier.
The downside is that it crashes FREQUENTLY. I have to close it and clear many time during my workout.

  • More specific

This is a great app in general but if you could talk about fiber types(type 1 and 2 ) for each muscle, which exercises hit the muscle best and back it with emg studies would be nice and some exercises such as the deadlift work muscles you didn’t mention like your back it could also be nice if you could explain if it is a concentric eccentric or isometric contraction as well as some conditioning workouts but I haven’t looked to far into this so it is mostly good so far I personally would watch you tubers along with this like athlean x to get a better understanding of the muscle and not just rely on this app but I stand with 4 out 5 stars

  • Great so far!

I purchased this app to help with patient education when treating. I do really like it overall. I gave it 4 stars, because I was disappointed that the anterior/middle/posterior delt are not able to be cut away to show the rotator cuff muscle insertions on the humerus. It also doesn’t show the long head of the biceps because the deltoid is blocking it. I see a lot of shoulders at my clinic, and I though this would be helpful for education, but I won’t be able to use it like I thought I would.

  • Can’t seem to get it to update.

I have used this app for a couple years working with clients. It’s really helpful, but I went to show a client a muscle we were working on and it didn’t open. So I tried updating when I got home, but it seems to be frozen at the start of the update.

    Please help,
    Thanks!
  • Great value!

I’m a personal trainer and having been using this app for years, and love it! It’s great to give my clients a visual of what they are doing and explaining the rationale of why they are doing a particular movement or exercise. I also love how you can cut away the superficial muscles to show the deeper ones. Good stuff!

  • Love this app, search functionality not great.

This app has been great! I use it to show patients and clients where and how a muscle contracts as well as using it for my own workouts. Love it!

That being said... I would love to be able to add sets to a workout or even an exercise dynamically while the workout is happening. The search function isn’t without issues: for instance if your developing a workout and want to train just forearms on a particular day and search for forearms you get nothing, if you’re more specific with searching a particular muscle you sometimes get nothing. Improvement in these areas would be great! Thanks.

  • Really cool

I’ve been tinkering with this for personal benefits, and have been building work out regiments for the week. I like the extensive library of exercises. My only issue is not having a few of the exercises I’d like. But again, excellent concept, cool diagram of the muscles, and super cool format for multiple types of routines as well as stretching and calisthenics and more. Definitely recommend

  • Great app for workout ideas

This is a great app for anyone into fitness I can not recommend it enough. My Trainer recommended years ago and I’ve used it since.

It’s rare that there’s any app out that that doesn’t want to shake you daily for every penny you own or isn’t stealing your personal information in order to sell it off. So it’s great this app is actually doing what it can without resorting to cheap tactics in order to make a quick buck. I’ve highly recommend it to anyone I workout with.

  • Phenomenal App!

It was free when I got it many years ago, not sure if it still is or not, but what an app. Having trouble figuring out how to exercise specific muscles? This is the app for you. With a model you can zoom in on, identify the muscle(s) you want to target, and then exercises and stretches modeling how to exercise said muscle(s) 👍🏻 The new update which allows you to save your favorite exercise for a quick reference is a very nice touch. Whether you have been lifting for years or just getting started this is a must have app for the fitness enthusiast.

  • MY FAVORITE APP EVER!!!

I got this app and it’s AMAZING! It’s $3.99 but totally worth it, especially if you like to workout OR need some motivation. I worked at a fitness facility and thought I knew a lot of exercises but this app showed me lots of great new ones too! You can point to whatever muscle(s) you want to work on on the 3D model and it shows you variations of exercises you can do (dumbbell or cable or medicine ball workout). Then you can add that exercise to your workout and when you’re doing the workout you’ve created, it tracks your weight, reps/sets, rest and work time. I always lose track of sets and daydream during rest time so this keeps me in check. They also have general workouts already created if you don’t want to create your own workout. And at the end, they give you a time summary. I hope you find the app useful or interesting! I’ve honestly never been so enthusiastic about an app before, and I hate paying for apps, but I LOVE this one.
