Worthless unless you pay $100 for the accessory
Downloaded this hoping it would reveal wifi channel interference.
Pretty sure it will and lots more too -, if you spend 100 dollars on a piece of kit to plug into it. It does nothing other than create a random colour pattern if you don't
( the pattern was no different whether my own router was switched on or off!)

Learn to read descriptions.
Everyone calling this app "crap" or a "waste" is obviously too ignorant to read the first sentence of the app's description where it says in all caps that this app requires the accessory sold separately for it to exit demo mode. This app is extremely sophisticated and excellent for determining weak points in both business ad residential networks. It allows you to determine more accurately where and when you may need an extender or access point for signal consistency instead of using your best guess from experience. 4 Stars only because there should be a more definitive word in the app's name/title to alert oblivious users from assuming it functions without a required accessory.Show lessSkiitzo

Works great, easy to use, but not lacking features ... I have used many laptop based products before and these guys are up there with the expensive one at fraction the price and it works great on my iPad and IPhone, no need to carry my laptop around. Delivered in Canada in two days, thx that was a plus. Keep up the great work!!Show lessmchart13
For wireless MIDI instruments
I'm using it to check what frequencies are being used in whatever venue I'm in so I can set my MIDIjet Pro on a clear frequency. This just provides added insurance to ensure I avoid any interference while playing.Darryl Lee Wood
Not worth the money
I have this device and Im not impressed with it. Save your money and use a free windows program like InSSIDer.....much better.Omegamam

Buy the hardware to use the app
Really good for viewing the density of 2.4 GHz traffic. You do need to purchase the hardware so don't expect real data from the demo version. This is a nice tool for location of interference and finding the usage across the spectrum. Wish it worked at 5 GHz also.BlessedDan

Do not waste time downloading if you are not getting the accessory. You only get a demo mode. This look Ok.M Sargent
