Is it real?
I has this app for about a week and I still can't figure out weather or not it's a "demo" (a recorded spectrum) or actual real time reading.Norb88
No use without purchasing antenna
This is just a demo of what you might see if you buy their external antenna. By itself, this just plays a fake recorded spectrum chart.ChrisHz
Extremely helpful
I purchased this to figure out sources of WiFi interference in my home and help me find the best placement of my WIFi repeater antenna.
This purchase was totally worthwhile on both counts. I could not have achieved either without the information provided by the WiPry Spectrum Analyzer.

Very impressive - really works
Fun experiment: if you have microwave like mine that knocks out the wireless while running, try scanning the spectrum with this. There was a huge wide peak centered around channel 9. No wonder we couldn't browse the net and reheat food at the same time.Phil.T.Robot

SO WHAT IS IT…?
In the absence of ANY help files or instructions it's all a bit useless. Not sure whether it actually does anything without buying the accessories - i.e.: are you viewing a "lite" version or are you just looking at pre-loaded demo of everything? Nobody knows……. Some explanatory notes would be a good first step. Very reluctant to spend money on the accessories if this is the zero level of support being offered.Show lessKW999
Great device
Having received the WiPry very quickly following placing my order. On initial operation I could not get any signals on the display. I soon realised I had the software in the power mode. Switching to spectrum mode brought the expected signals.
I unplugged the module from my iPhone without stopping the Oscium program and found that to get it working again I had to power down my iPhone then restart before it would recognise the hardware module. Overall I think it is a great device.Show lessMacca450
Works as advertised
Shows the real spectrum in use. I use equipment which is in this band but uses spread spectrum frequency hopping. To properly coordinate it and minimize the inter fierceness to wifi access points, I need to see them first. This does it. Now if they would make a spectrum analyzer for 100mHz-1gHz my tools would be complete.Show lessPeterskine
