Excellently good
For anyone experienced in what it takes to create event support apps and use them, it should be obvious that this app started ok, is now good, and on the way to Great! Everything in one place. Still buggy
This app certainly has more functionality than in the past, but it still has some bugs. It doesn't recognize when you've updated the app and continually informs you there's a new app, do you want to update? Very annoying. Trying to block out personal time doesn't always work, and acts like you're requesting a meeting -- counter-intuitive. Search is restricted to the agenda you're in (won't search the entire event agenda if you're in MyAgenda). Placing events on your calendar doesn't always happen right away, which leads to placing it twice (or more) because it appears that it didn't work when it actually did.
All that being said, it is still useful and I appreciate being able to use it. I look forward to improvements in the near future.Show lessMacCanard
Great tool
This is an excellent tool for the Gartner conferences. I was able to view the full agenda, my agenda , download the presentations and see maps of the venue and the nearby area all this this one app. It was so easy to adjust my agenda throughout the day as needed. I couldn't imagine attending a Gartner conference without it. I don't know why they don't publicize this more. The one thing they could improve is by having my agenda always default to the items that are happening currently, rather than refreshing to the first day every time.Show lessDgffjvfudjc
Useful
I like being able to see your full event schedule, to be able to add and remove sessions and to see the ppt presentations from my iPhone. My complaints are:
1. You should be able to click on a link in each session to see where the room is.
2. The app should support landscape view on a phone when showing the ppt or maps.
3. When you click on MyAgenda it should move to the current day and time instead of defaulting to Sunday.Show lessmorriswj
Maximum Conference Productivity!!!
The app is AWESOME! I was able to keep on track, take and share notes, and even change my session option at a moments notice. So much better than carrying a booklet!
It's been 7 week since I attended and I'm still using this app to share the great ideas (and my notes) with my colleagues.DeliFitz
If you are attending a Gartner event
If you are attending a Gartner event you must use this to manage the large amount of sessions and schedules. It is great when you modify your schedule while you are walking from one place to another. I love the auto sync to my Outlook calendar. While the app had issues with closing unexpectedly it was minor. I know I attended my sessions more effectively than conferences in the past.Show lessMDC58554
Keep it up!
Nice progression from the Mobile agenda builder. Would like to see: (1) ability to open the documentation in any of my iOS apps that support PDF so I can take notes/markup/tag while following along without having to email it to myself. (2) ability to add an ad-hoc event. (3) sync all data between multiple devices including notes, who's here, etc and (4) allow for sorting the list of who's here vendors by location so I can go through the itxpo floor easier and mark them off as visit.Show lessphotobyjoe
It's helpful but frustrating
I love the fact that the app tells me where to go when I need to go the and it has all the presentations, but it would be more helpful if the app didn't crash every time I tried to open a presentation. Or tired to look at other items outside my defined agenda.
Several other attendees have experienced the same and have had to reinstall several times.

Much improved
Much, much better then the previous version, especially from an iPad. Filter options are decent, would benefit from including "track" as an option. (Actually, that turns out to be possible, just not immediately obvious). I had abandoned the earlier one during the EA conference, but am using this one for Symposium, not carrying any paper form.Show lessGD123PA
