  • Don’t Waste Your Time/Money

I purchased $250 dollars worth of prep tests on this app, because I preferred the interface to 7Sage’s. What I didn’t expect was this app to be the most glitchy, laggy software I’ve ever used. I wait on average 20 minutes for one test to load, and if it crashes during the test you must start all over. Moreover, most of the time I will finish a test and not get my score because it says I didn’t complete the exam. (You do not understand the pain of finishing an exam and then having to spend an extra hour figuring out your score)

Unless they are able to sort out these glitches, I recommend buying the trusted and true LSAC paper exams to an app that barely works.

  • Best Way To Study For LSAT

This prep course is truly the best way to study for the LSAT. I had used various other LSAT prep courses such as Kaplan and the only one that helped me exponentially improve my score was LSATMax. From the endless hours of video tutorials along with the arsenal of prep tests, this prep course has it all. Another extraordinary feature of the course is the analytics tool, which helps to break down each area of the test and see where improvement is needed. I found myself still struggling with the logic games and was then paired with a private tutor, Ben Mingov. Ben was incredibly bright and was able to teach me a strategy regarding how to attack the logic games. This truly helped to boost my confidence level as a whole. Overall, I would highly recommend this course to anyone on their LSAT Journey!

  • Just What I Needed

I recently took the LSAT in July and was happy that I improved my score although I did not reach my goal score. I needed help and realized that studying alone would not get me there. After reading the reviews from LSAT Max, I knew this was what I needed. I received a tutor, Shunhe, and he helped immensely in facilitating an environment that allowed me to be vulnerable in vocalizing my thought process in order to challenge and redirect my thinking to achieve correct answers. I look forward to taking the test in October and grateful for Shunhe’s help.

  • Only one complaint so far

My only complaint is the formatting of reading comprehension sections on the practice exams (in the iPad app). The highlighting tool has a mind of its own, and correcting the app’s highlighting errors takes up a significant amount of time (which is obviously a disadvantage for a timed exam). Additionally, the formatting of the passages is very strangely laid out, making it impossible to distinguish between paragraphs. This is an issue when exam questions specifically ask for a comparison of two specific paragraphs. Otherwise, the app is quite intuitive and the program itself is helpful.

  • Tutoring - Sam Adondakis

I am fairly new to using this program (started end of June) but I have been fairly pleased with using it. Everything is online which is great, including the tutoring sessions.

I have had about 5 sessions with Sam and it’s been great. He is really helpful in making sure that you understand and learn the information. Even when you make a mistake or get a question wrong, he’s always encouraging in helping you to understand every aspect of the question. You are not just learning tricks to pass each answer. You are learning concepts, terms and foundations, which is something that I appreciate and is important to know. Overall, he has been very helpful.

  • Tutoring Session with Sam

I am really happy after my 10hours of tutoring with LSAT MAX tutor, Sam Adondakis. I have a lot test anxiety and do get flustered when thrown into the spotlight. The LSAT is a beast that I had little control of. Sam’s style of tutoring have been relaxed yet informed. Sam is easy to work with and has been nothing but supportive. You get the feeling that you can actually achieve the desired score you’re striving for. My confidence definitely grew. Not only this, he’s been approachable and flexible to make sure I got the most out my tutoring hours. He really cared and was invested in my progress. Thank you Sam!

  • Great resource for self studying but has its flaws

First off, I would like to say this is a good resource for self studying for the LSAT. As you have access to hundreds of questions(probably more) and hundreds of LSAT practice exams. The only flaw for this company is that they do have a fair amount of glitches in their system. Sometimes their questions are wrong that are marked as right. As well as the overall format of the sections tends to have glitches specifically the reading comp practice section. They host office hours ever so often which is great because it’s basically free tutoring but on specific topics with other students. I wasn’t too happy with the tutoring service I paid for with them although, because a lot of the times I came out of the sessions feeling like i didn’t get much information, especially in relation to the specific information I made my session for. Overall, I think there biggest area of improvement should be on their reading comp. The reading comp has the least amount of guidance as they just jump into the passages and only about 6 of them have explanations which is not much at all.

But, overall I was able to increase my score, so I am happy with the source, but I think it does has some room for improvement!

  • Spam city

I downloaded the app and signed in, and within 5 minutes I was getting back to back phone calls from unknown CA numbers (I live in CT). When those stopped, the texts started. I understand wanting to tailor-make each learners’ experience for max effectiveness, but they disguise their phone number collection as a “Make sure you’re not a robot” prompt which is super shady. I think simply asking if someone would like to provide their number for more in-depth learning would be a better avenue. I see the 5-star reviews and I can’t help but wonder if they got this treatment too. Super intrusive.

  • Tutoring Review

LSATMax Tutoring is great. For anyone looking to improve their LSAT score I recommend this. My tutor was Sam Adondakis, he helped me develop my ideal study plan and was very accommodating to my scheduling and studying needs. With his help I was able to improve my score drastically. He helped me narrow my focus and really focus on the important components on each LSAT question type. His explanations and tips made questions that initially seemed hard appear much more solvable. I highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a tutor for the LSAT.

  • Ben Mingov

The program is phenomenal for anyone preparing for the LSAT. As for my experience in particular, striving to attend law school after a 12 year professional career, the program was very flexible for those aspiring law students who are having to study while balancing a professional career along with family responsibilities.

Also, a hidden gem that is offered at a reasonable price, is LSATMax’s world class tutors. Ben Mingov elevated my Logical Reasoning and Reading Comprehension scores. His patience and efforts helped me receive offers from T8 schools, which is a feat since I applied with a 2.6 undergraduate GPA!

I’m indebted to and highly recommend LSATMax Prep and Ben Mingov.
