  • Be prepared for lots of calls

I downloaded this app because I really wanted to use it to study for my LSAT but I definitely wasn’t expecting to get phone calls within two days of having it. The phone calls, in my eyes, were pretty intrusive considering I was just starting out with studying and didn’t know where I wanted to go to law school yet, etc. I pretty much deleted the app right after that because I didn’t sign up for phone calls when I had a pre-law advisor at my college that I can ask any of my questions to. After about a month (of it being deleted off my phone as well) I received ANOTHER call and then finally tried to block that number. It’s fine if you want the help and to ask questions, however, we should have been notified of that before-hand.

Our apologies for the inconvenience. Given the importance of the LSAT to law school admissions, we do not take our users’ success lightly. • Lsat Max Tutoring

I scheduled 10 hours of private tutoring sessions with Ben Mingov. I am still impressed with how well he was able to explain my weakest areas of the lsat to me to make me understand the material. I take my lsat in a few days and because of Ben I feel way more confident this time around than my previous test. If you have the opportunity I highly recommend choosing Ben for tutoring.

  • A great tutor!

I had multiple virtual tutoring sessions with Ben and he was pleasant, patient, encouraging, and able to clearly explain certain tactics to take my studying to the next step. I was already very close to my test date when I started meeting with Ben and he got me to realize how I was approaching my challenge areas in LR incorrectly and how to be more confident in my answers. He also gave me good advice to finish LG faster with accuracy and less stress.

Overall, I enjoyed my time learning with Ben. I would recommend him for anyone needing to tighten up their LSAT studying.

  • Excellent structure, great tutors

Throughout my entire LSAT studies I have gone with LSAT Max Prep. It has not disappointed me once. Throughout the struggles and stress LSAT Max Prep has really helped me learn my material in a productive way. I am going to be taking the LSAT Flex in 11 days and I feel quite confident about it. My score has risen 15 points since my first practice test. When I hit a wall I sought out a tutor. LSAT Max Prep parried me with the tutor Ben Mingov and he has been extremely helpful so far. He is a very intelligent person that’s doesn’t just know his stuff, he knows how to teach it. When I hit a wall, Ben really helped me get over it and back into studying how I should be. Overall LSAT Max Prep & Ben have been beyond essential to my LSAT studying and I would recommend them to anyone looking for LSAT Prep courses.

  • This app is a mess

The tutors are great, the content is quality, the app is very frustrating. If I had a dollar for every time a big crashed my practice exam, or I received a notification that wouldn’t disappear, I would have around $50, which would be about 5% of what I spent on my subscription.

It crashes during exams constantly. It periodically forgets that I am logged in, prompting me to spend money to buy things I already have purchased. Questions sent in to the board do not result in notifications when an answer is written. The highlighter function for passages is incoherent.

  • Great lessons, glitchy app

I downloaded this app in order to improve my score and ran into a lot of technical problems right off the bat. (The videos wouldn’t stream or download on my iPad or mobile device, the tests would skip to the next section randomly and make me start over, my phone wouldn’t show the progress that had been made on my account, not showing me the scaled score at the ends of exams...) The support people were really responsive and did their best to assist, but every time they told me it was simply a bug with the app that needed to be fixed in the next update. (After two months this update still hasn’t been available.) As someone who paid for premium (~$900) to use this in preparation for my LSAT that was three months from the time of purchase, it’s frustrating to have to wait for the product I paid for to work. If the platform worked as it was supposed to, I would give it 5 stars for the quality of the information, but two months in, I’m just not sure just the constant glitching and hassles with technical issues makes it worth it. Hopefully they will have everything ironed out for the next round of test-takers.

  • Best $950 I have spent

I was a little aprehensive purchasing this LSAT PREP course after my school was offering a in person prep course for about $1000+ in pricing that wanted their payment weeks in advance and the quality was just TRASH to say the least. The course they offered us did not allow us to maximize on our learning or improve in our areas of opportunity it had limited access and was a big waste of money. HOWEVER, I love the breakdown LSAT MAX prep gives in each video, it explains everything well, and I look forward to increasing my score over time. It is designed to match your pace and needs, you can also have the application on the go making it convenient and comfortable. It is TRULY an amazing app dedicated to students who are struggling with grasping the material and WORTH every Penny. The app also allows you to finance the course for the individuals who cannot afford to front all of the money on the spot. GREAT WORK! Love this app !

  • Wise Investment

I’m very satisfied with the quality and services TestMax/LSATMax provides. I usually don’t write reviews unless a product/service is either very well or very poorly done, so this is telling because otherwise it is not a wise use of my time (!!!). At first, I was extremely apprehensive about getting an online tutoring service, but I spend a lot of time on the road for work, and in-person classes would not work with the unpredictability of my work/travel schedule. I don’t regret my decision. The information provided is unparalleled and in-depth, especially if you get the Premium Package (the one with all the tests and the Economist subscription). It’s worth the investment if you want a high LSAT score, and if you want the flexibility of building your own study schedule. It feels like having a private tutor and an LSAT class, but without all the unnecessary pomp and circumstance (high price, limited meeting time, generic teaching style/fit, etc.)

  • LSATMax

It’s about a week I’m with LSATMax, but it’s more than a year I’m studying for the exam, but this app is amazing. The moment I wake up in the morning I have the best tutorial stuff in front of my eyes with a highly caring leader who observes my progress with precious advices all the time. I read bibles, khan academy and did more than 60 prep tests, but LSATMax drills are something else. They internalize and fix the concept in my mind as a second nature. Thank you Mehran for all these!

  • Get ready for spam!

I downloaded the app for the logic games but within minutes of opening it I found that it just wasn’t what I was looking for. Oh well, no harm no foul, right?

Wrong. Because in the days since, I’ve been bombarded with email spam, text message spam, and then the final straw: phone call spam. I wasn’t keen on having to set up yet another utterly useless account just to test drive an app, but now I’m furious. Who knows how many numbers I’ll have to block now.

Listen up, devs: even if I found your app useful, I would have deleted it after the first bit of text spam. But phone spam too?? At that point you’re just vultures.
