This app would rather push notifications at me than function properly. I have tried everything the Help section suggests, but the issue I purchased (and for which I was already billed) refuses to download. What next? Delete the app and look elsewhere.gambitvendetta
Critical bugs
Serious stability and performance issues in current version. Store view can take a minute or more to update, and it refreshes every time it appears. Several failures to process downloaded issues properly. This has caused system freezes that require restarting the iPad. Puzzling because the same app for sister publications like FutureMusic appear to work fine.Show lessstratocraig
Go digital
This is a very well sorted digital mag, great videos and excellent articles, I haven't had any download issues using wifi, but it does take a few minutes. Just one gripe - The paper version is out in newsagents days before the digital version which is intensely frustrating if, like me, you have a digital subscription! so one star dropped for that!Show lessDawsolari
iOS8 has ruined this
Since I updated my iPad to iOS 8 I cannot access back issues that I have archived, cannot access the online library and the pages take an age to load, if they load at all. The imagery of the guitars is also not working. I have contacted them over a week ago and still not had a reply. Awful
Update: app now closes instead of opening magazine. The amount of times I've had to delete and reinstall this app is ridiculous. If guitarist app was a person I'd punch them in the throat!Show lessLoynesey

Now very satisfied
Now problems are sorted, this looks great, the photography is very good and it is ideal to be able to zoom in and see the pictures in great detail, the content/articles are excellent. Hopefully this will continue to work ok. I will definitely continue my subscription if it does.Johnny h 99
Going downhill

Horrible app
This app is slower than molasses in January. It is totally unresponsive. I have complained about this same thing several times and NO response or change. I love the magazine but hate the app! Guitar World isn't much better. I have full subscriptions to both, they both keep trying to charge me for issues etc. the communication with iTunes Store is pathetic.
