miAsbestos 05.01.00 (29.0) contains the following new feature and bugs fixes 937 New Feature - miAsbestos building and single floor upload The upload icon at floor level uploads the current floor and the parent building level. 938 Bug Fix - User can delete referenced survey items User now gets a notification that they cannot delete a survey item if it is referenced by another survey item. 939 Bug Fix – Improved new event defaults The event type and due date now default to the previously used value. On first use, the event type and due date are blank. On creating a new event, the event type and due date are saved as defaults. On subsequent event creation the event type and due date will be set to the previously used value. The default values can be changed. 941 Bug Fix - No change reinspection, surveyor name should be current user On no change reinspections, the surveyor name is now set to the name of the currently logged in user.

This update also provides the ability to download individual floors, allowing finer control over surveying large buildings. Please note support for enhanced downloads (downloader V2) requires Micad Asbestos Module 02.17.00 or greater. Micad recommends uploading all survey data to the Asbestos Module before updating the app. Micad recommends that users regularly backup IOS devices.

miAsbestos is an asbestos survey application. It provides the user with the ability to download location based, asbestos survey data from MICAD’s industry leading asbestos surveying software. miAsbestos presents all aspects of the survey data including: location details, photographs and the full risk assessments in accordance with HSG227 & HSG264. miAsbestos allows both clients and their contractors to work smarter in a way that is logical, intuitive and highly efficient. Data exchange with MICAD’s core IPR software and Asbestos Module is seamless, reliable and secure. Requirements: MICAD IPR3.5, miAsbestos enabled Asbestos Module - Minimum version 02.14.00 dated 18/12/2012. Recommended version 02.17.00 dated 27/09/2016.
