  • READ THE INFO!

Don't give this a one star because you failed to read the description. The magazine app is free - yes, but like other magazine subscriptions; YOU OBVIOUSLY have to pay! How will the writers in the magazine make money?
  • Dumb

The issues are not free. You have to pay to read them. Shouldn't be listed this way, it's misleading.
  • Don't say free if it isn't.

There are free magazines out there. Several newspapers are free. I can't understand how Apple allows these apps to be listed as free. You have to pay to read the content. The "free" app is a monthly reminder to "buy" your magazine. You should pay me for that advertising space. Get off my phone please. (If you would have just listed your monthly price, people wouldn't be giving you one star---it's false advertising.)
  • Not as it seems

I just downloaded this app (& another) despite ALL the bad reviews. Such a waste of time. You would think you would get to review Something in a magazine but No! Nothing! The app gives you options to download monthly issues or buy 6 months, or yearly, etc.... You can't even read the highlights on the cover! I don't have a problem paying for something, but I would like to know what I'm giving my hard earned cash for before doing so. Give me SOMETHING to see. Until then, I'm taking my $$$ to the grocery store!
  • NOT FREE DO NOT BE FOOLED

My issue isn't the magazines themselves aren't free. It's that they trickily advertised themselves as so and made us waste time downloading and reading to come to that conclusion. Don't lie app store.
  • Rip off

It's not free....you have to pay for each issue...you get nothing by dling this app
  • Tricky!

Wish they have a free issue that comes with app installation so at least I know what I would be getting before buying a $$ monthly subscription. Same as buying in the grocery store. You can browse for free and decide if you wanna buy and take it home.
  • Not worth it

I feel like if I was able to possibly look at a page or two of the magazine and see what it's like on the iPhone, then I might be more inclined to purchase it. But given the fact that I can't even look at anything in any of the magazines and the prices are extremely ridiculous, I definitely will not be paying for it. Sorry but $5 is too much for an app, let alone a monthly magazine, and $55 for a year? HA come on now it's like $20 in print..
  • Really!?!?!?!?

Y'all just can't deal with the fact you have to come out of your pocket for a year subscription. Get over yourself and pay for the info. Folks ALWAYS want something FREE. Will u go into a store.... Grab a magazine off the rack then walk out NO. If you do then SOMEBODY going to JAIL! LMBO!
  • No duh it's not free

All the reviews for basically all of the newsstand apps are one star, this is horrible for people who are actually looking for a review of the app. Look, do you have to buy a magazine at a grocery store? Yes. So why would you expect to get them for free? Because you all are ignorant and speak before you think. These are apps to manage your issues of your magazines, much like the Marvel Comics app. The app is free, but you have to pay for the issues. So just because you were able to afford an iPhone with the lowest data plan, no texts and the lowest minuets, doesn't mean you get everything else for free. People still need to make they're money. So please review if you have the app and want to share your wisdom, don't just complain because you think Apple is trying to "scam" you.
