Compare to other internatinal banks…..

….ING is a real blessing. We also hold accounts at an American, France and English bank, they are all pathetic, obsolete, slow and complicated ( regarding online services) compare to ING.

Does not save transactions

After laboriously inputting a transaction I’m told I need to change the daily app limit. Fine. I change it, but then I have to re-enter everything. Poor design.

Can’t update

I can’t update as I need a newer version which is not compatible with my mobile!
Now I cannot use my app nor online on my computer! This should not be interconnected! How to continue now??

Annoying adds and messages

I really hate this app. It shows around three offers or messages on the main screen, including insurance, asking for donations for all sorts of causes, etc. So the quick overview is lost. If you close the adds, which you need to do individually, they show others afterwards. There is no way to configure a “please don’t bother me all the time”. For instance, they keep offering me liability insurance, which I already have, but no matter how many times I tell to hide the add, it keeps popping up.

Furthermore, most of the app’s functions actually only direct you to the website.

The App doesn’t scan my id card

Too much work to activate

Every time I want to use this app I need to scan my passport to verify my account. This app is not convenient at all like this. It’s painful.

The app is not letting me upload my ID to create account

We’ve tried multiple times to finish the account opening process but the app crashes after trying to take the photo of our ID cArd. Please fix

Can’t use Apple Pay

Help please. I’m running iOS 16.1. Can’t use Apple Pay. In the ING app, when going to settings > Apple Pay, I get an error message.
Can’t add my debit card nor authenticate my credit card to use Apple Pay

ID scanning poorly implemented

Does not support iPhone 14. Says to focus the photo but whoever implemented the camera API probably did it wrong so the camera has a fixed focal length and won’t autofocus. This phone has been out for four days now and anyone who upgraded can’t activate/use their bank.

Will update this review when fixed.
