Modules aren’t saving my data
I am having trouble with having my modules show that I have completed them. Despite finishing the module no check mark will appear next to the title, and the next assignment won’t unlock until I get credit for finishing the previous :/

Extremely frustrated user experience
This software is really like a garbage, no matter website version or app. As an instructor, I find its assignment grading feature impressively unusable and totally not useful. Get ready to see a better design to destroy Canvas in the future.
So many issues
I cant login half the time. When I’m doing quizzes it LAGS out?! When I’m using the app it LOGS ME OUT?! Seriously horrid app.
Very useful and easy to use, but something’s to change
My school district changed from Google Classroom to Canvas, and although it was confusing at first, Canvas just outweighs Google Classroom 10 fold. The features for assignments is very organized and just better to look at than GS’s (Google Classroom’s.) If a teacher posts a rubric, not only are there the teacher’s comments, but it also describes how you lost points, got something wrong, etc. The export feature is a lifesaver 🙏🙏🙏. My school relies heavily on iPads and Notability. So the features practically Carrie’s my school. This is just a better alternative than GS. Here comes the part where I complain lol. One feature that can improved is editing your dashboard. I can’t tell you how many times I couldn’t find Modules, which is where I download my work or take a quiz/test. It would be so much easier if you could edit what options you have. Another editing feature that I think needs to be updated is the dashboard. Sure you can keep what classes you need on there, but being able to customize with your bell schedule or however you want will definitely improve. DEVELOPERS, PLEASE CONSIDER MY RECOMMENDATIONS. Not only will it increase your users, it will likely lead them to reccomend it to other teachers who reccomend it to their head of school or even the head of the school district. this app caused my husband to leave me and i began to grow fungus in my toes. do not download, it has terribly dangerous consequences. men will leave you like geese and you will become fungally stimulated. run.

Overall a great app and I like having canvas on my phone.
However it would be nice if the What-If grades and other aspects from the website were integrated into the app.

Can barely see the contents
It is a great app if you can see the contents that your trying to study. But no.
Fix the forced darkmode issue. Why have text set to black on black?
Issue with forced dark mode making text input invisible to others. No option to turn off darkmode for site wide use as it resets to darkmode every page, causing issues with text formatting and no option to edit text once posted. Cannot see black text at all, really frustrating. Plus it causes users posts to be a completely different colour to the discussion boards and message centre making it invisible to receiver. Why have forced dark mode for a student / teacher app? It’s ridiculous.

Application works great but one feature doesn’t work well
One of the modules I teach incorporates multiple studios which students are allocate to. This was arranged by creating a new tab under the ‘people’ section which includes subgroups that students can be assigned to.
These set of groups allow us to send separate announcements and files to the group members, making things easier to organize.
ISSUE: Students are able to access this seperate Group as it appears in their dashboard in the app. Whereas Teachers can only access these groups via a browser under ‘people’ to make amendments and post announcements, the app does not provide any access to these new groups to teachers on the app, can this be fixed please.
