  • I can't believe it.

    It was a fine, simple, easy to use app then it was updated. Now it crashes. The slider at the bottom doesn't line up anymore so when you are on week 4 it gives you the final test workout. But not to worry because if you move the slider past week 4 the app crashes. Upgrades destroying good apps happens so often you start to wonder why it's done!

  • Great app

    I started using this app 3 weeks before I had a fitness test. Before using this app I could do 55 in 2 minutes. After 3 weeks I could do 84 in 2 minutes.
  • The best so far

    I really like this app. You get enough rest between sets. You can customize you music and the works too. I would add a variation to the type of push ups during the sets and maybe increase the sets over time as well. But as a basic push up trainer. It's is a great app.
  • Simple but effective

    A fairly straight forward, simple app. It gradually adds more push-ups to your workout. Definitely not a complete trainer (nor is it intended to be), but great for pre-workout warmup or a quick pump when traveling.
  • Good motivation!

    The app is solid and guides you through a 7-week training schedule to do eventually do 100 pushups. The developer is very responsive. The app plots your progress in some basic ways. Not many bells and whistles in the app, and sync/backup is a little complicated… but hey, it gets you doing pushups, and that’s a very good thing! Overall nice and simple. Sits on my home screen.

  • Good app

    Finished complete program/ got ripped
    Quit exercising / gained 25 lbs.
    on week 4. Round 2. Weight is dropping off again. App is a great guide but there is only a 30 second warm up. They should add a longer warm up and some good pre-stretches as an option. Doing a workout as intense as this about week 4 you can hurt yourself if you do it cold. Warm up inadequate is why I gave 4 stars.

  • Good program

    The app works well. At some points there are some unrealistic advanced expected from one day to the next so I had to do some days a few times before advancing.

    Also have to complete the program more than once to get to 100 pushups.
  • Too Ambitious

    This app's program will help you gain strength and muscle, but when it comes right down to it, this app is WAY too ambitious! The jumps it makes late in the program are a little ridiculous. I think getting to a goal of 100 consecutive push ups is legit, just not the way it's laid out on this app. I'm downloading another app as soon as I submit this review.

  • Good app for beginners

    If you're wanting to get yourself into better shape, I highly recommend that you consider using this app. It's easy to use and has some enjoyable features, such as playing music, timing the rests between sets, showing how many calories you've burned, etc. You can share your results with Twitter and FaceBook, if desired.

    The app seems to be set to think you'll only do push-ups 3 times per week. I actually like to do the five, but I don't see how to adjust this. If it exists, the app maker didn't make it very obvious. ;-)

    Over all, it's a great app, but it does tend to push a bit too fast. I've had to jump back a bit till my system was ready to move onward.

  • Keeps me on-track

    Excellent fitness program. Reminders alert me so I don't forget -- the structure and regimentation is helpful. User interface is intuitive, and sounds (while not melodious) are well structured.
