Classic, Funny, and Deep
What a gem. This is an absolute must-play for fans of 2D Action RPGs from the NES SNES, GBA, or NDS eras such as Zelda II for the NES. Our half-genie hero a relatable and inspiring girl who is strong and adventurous, but has life's circumstances force her to adapt, be humble, and work to maintain her natural sense of humor, optimism and charm. She's also a lovely look at how there are some magical, strong, independent women in Middle Eastern folklore ! MFi controllers work stunningly, although the weapon select cursor is sometimes invisible, and gamepad customization would be nice. Way Forward, bravo for keeping this tremendous port updated and working. It's only timeless if we keep it.Show lessEmilyApricot
Shantae risky’s revenge 10/10 😆
This game was the best from start to end I enjoyed every part of it and would like to see Shantae pirate’s curse on the App Store. The best parts of this game were the bosses, challenging foes that guard the magic seals, that was interesting. The charming characters from head to toe are magnificent and the plot was one of the best ones I have ever played. Wayforward thanks for this game and I will play this again anytime. Without a doubt this game made the best time playing than all of the others

Support 10.3.3 or later... Not.
I'm on 10.3.3 and yet ask me to download the older version and leaves permanently the AppStore app showing a red number 1 for update available... would appreciate if you can do something or I'll have to delete the app to get rid of the false update alert on the AppStore icon... thanks.gluca
What's with reupdating the 64 bits?
I've updated my Shantae game's 64 bits that kept telling me to download the iOS 10 version in order to update this one like three or four times already, I mean why do I have to keep redownloading in order to re update this game like over and over again, its gotta stop, so why don't the App Store guys fix this one to where I can just update this 64 bits version of this game without having to redownload the iOS 10 version for this game's update all over again? its driving me crazy.Show lessBARninja24

Fantastic game that needs updating to iOS 11 and supporting 64 bit.
This is a wonderful game but I cannot play it due to not being 64 bit as required by apple now for iOS 11. Please Wayforward update this gem of a game for iOS 11.writer1981

Brilliant but now needs updating for iOS 11
Its a brilliant game and it cost a lot despite being a cool game and now a big issue has stalled gameplay due to it needing an upgrade patch to play on iOS 11 so can you please up grade this app to its enjoyable state, I would have given it a well deserve 5 stars but to earn it you need to update it.Show lesswinnyjaye
