App Crashes While Rearranging Photos [Updated]
I'm trying to spruce up my profile after it's been disabled for a few months, and I wanted to remove a few photos and add some new ones. But anytime I try to rearrange the photos, the app immediately crashes. This is frustrating, because now my main photo is set to one I do not at all want to be my main photo. Please fix this bug.
UPDATE: I'm honestly not sure what changed or fixed it, but I finally managed to get it to work. It's not necessarily the most active or popular seeming userbase in my area, and so likely won't be using the app that much in the long run, but at least the basic function of adding/uploading and rearranging my photos isn't crashing it anymore.Show lessParker J. This app was fun and happening last time I used it (6 years ago). Now it’s a totally different story, 98% of the people on this profile are fake and or scammers. It’s sad but I think it’s partially a result of pandemic impacting this due to its unique concept and now people have forgotten about it, which is sad. Team Happn, you had a good run but it’s time to call it quits.

A lots of scams
All people I met in this date app turned out they are scamming people, and ask for money from people and they are really great to get people emotion and acting they are really into you but eventually they ask money to send them.
Either they say they know Bitcoin very well and they wanted to invest your money or they have some problem so they ask money . Either way they talk with you more them 2 weeks and they are not into relationship or something, they want your money somehow. Please be aware of this and never ever send money who you just meet in any date app. I did not send money to anybody but some other might seem they are real , no they are not .

This App was good several years ago, mainly because it’s not saturated with too many users so better chance of getting matches in a given location HOWEVER, it is clearly now overrun by catfish users , and Happn as company seems to have nothing in place to address this - they may even be encouraging it to get a steady flow of temporary users been trying it again recently for a month - every single match is the same pattern, they don’t actually live near you , ever, but quickly want to get you off the app onto Whats App or google chat for a Video call - if you are dumb enough to actually get that far don’t complain if your phone gets hacked because what’s App video calls make your phone vulnerable to hacking. The uniqueness of the app has nothing in place to prevent geolocation spoofing - the entire premise of the App has been hijacked by hackers - Don’t waste your time !Show lessMitch Conner81

Been using the app for a number of years now without subscribing as I wasn’t getting any dates out of it, but at least it was reasonably enjoyable to use. The latest updates have made it difficult to navigate, have meant parts that previously worked without subscription no longer do as I am no longer able to like profiles and conversations I was having are frequently shaded out. About ready to delete both my profile and the app as it is now pants and would not be worth the money to subscribe!Show lessAldousr

Hello! Thank you for your comment. As you have already seen, we made some updates to our app and some of our functionalities have been temporarily deactivated. We are sorry that the new update isn't matching your expectations and we understand your frustration. We will make sure to share this with our developers. However, most of the disabled features will come back in the future with a new style. Also, happn is a free application. Only some Premium features are paid for. So many design errors with this product make it really frustrating to use. Crush time shows you people who like you but if I see the same person repeatedly and am not attracted to them there’s no way to remove them other than by matching and blocking them. Instead of instantly matching it should tell you you’ve guessed right and options whether to crush or cancel.
Also the way the buttons move from the side of the card to the bottom when scrolling is pretty bad.
Lastly my nav keeps switching from 3 buttons to 4 or 5 I can’t remember. You should have resolved this design aspect a long time agoShow lessCasdavies

Tried to give this app another try but it’s completely unusable and full of bot accounts. The feature that is cool, the passing by profile thing, can easily be faked. A location I was at, in the middle of no where had a person happn by me which would never be where I was lol. Because the property is a job site owned by the company I work at, no one’s allowed on-site but workers and it’s far from a side walk so they can’t say that’s what happened. The profile was even verified. The 2nd account I was chatting with was using pictures from a IG account, I found by searching for the image. After questioning the account they blocked me. It’s full of fake profiles and bots, etc. I shant be downloading it again. I doubt anyone has met anyone through this app that’s legit. But I could be wrong.Show lessSrum

I do enjoy this app somewhat, although I agree with some others that more fake profiles seem to be popping up. But also, I recently had to reinstall the app and I’ve been unable to use my subscription because there is absolutely NO restore purchase option. I’ve reached out to support and except for one email asking me for more info, they have been unresponsive. So I’ve gone almost half a month at this point without access to my premium subscription, which is ridiculous. Not sure how they removed such a pivotal feature, nor how Apple allowed it either.

I want to love this app because I like the concept a lot but using it can get frustrating. It’s either constantly refreshing (which I get you have to do for location based things) buts it’s disruptive. It refreshes mid action so you end up having to re-take same steps multiple times before you can get to what you’re after. Sometimes zooming in on a location where you crossed paths with several people splits the location so you have to zoom in and out several times to find the people. I literally had to type my profile blind because the field where you type it wouldn’t expand. It’s took like 7 tries to get 3 sentences in there without typos because I can’t see what I’m typing until I save it.
Please focus on usability before another redesign or more feature enhancements. I am sure I’m not the only one that gives up on using this app often because it’s so annoying to use.Show lessOMP81
Notifications spam
Someone needs to report to apple for notifications spam. Whoever writes the text for these notifications - please go back to school and study or something, stop sending nonsense
Update: To Bruno who responded to my review saying I’m not being polite - this is polite. Disabling notifications in iOS disables all notifications, even legitimate notifications such as messages or match notifications. So yes Bruno, I’m asking politely once again: please go study something before you write silly/nonsense/spammy notifications and send them to your users.
Also, to your developer buddies and the guy who calls himself a product manager - you may want to add an option in the UI to disable marketing (aka spam you are writing) notifications.Show lessLiolix
